U.S. Government Asks Victims of 2017 EtherDelta Hack to Come Forward

The U.S. government is hoping to obtain additional information on the 2017 hacker attack targeting the EtherDelta cryptocurrency trading platform and it has asked victims of the incident to come forward.
EtherDelta was a decentralized trading platform for Ether and Ethereum-based tokens. It was shut down after its founder was charged by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in November 2018 for operating an unregistered exchange. It reportedly also had legal problems in China.
According to U.S. authorities, Anthony Tyler Nashatka of Michigan (aka psycho) and Elliott Gunton from the United Kingdom (aka planet and Glubz) in December 2017 managed to steal at least $1.4 million worth of cryptocurrency as a result of a cyberattack targeting EtherDelta. ....

A large number of Republican ballots in Pennsylvania could not be scanned during the primaries and local elections on Tuesday, May 18, leading to an outcry of concerns regarding election integrity in the state.
Most of the unscanned ballots came from Republican voters in Fayette County, a GOP stronghold in southwestern Pennsylvania. The ballots were missing bar codes needed to get recognized and scanned by the voting machines. (Related: Investigation shows hundreds of Republican mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania were not counted.)

The breach of passenger data at Air India may pose litigation risks for the airline that could further delay the privatisation process, warn experts, adding that the national carrier must prioritise efforts to contain the damage from the cyber attack by informing passengers about steps they can still take to prevent fraud.
In a press statement, the airline said that its passenger processing system, supplied by multi-national information technology company SITA, was a target of a sophisticated cyber attack on February 25. Nearly 45 lakh “data subjects” registered over a period of 10 years between August 2011 to February 2021 were affected around the world, including passengers of other airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa ....

FRESNO, Texas – One nonprofit founder is seeking the public’s help to find a bright orange food trailer that was stolen in Fresno on May 7.
The trailer, which is used to help feed communities in need and teach youth to cook, was stolen from the 2900 block of FM 521 Road, where the trailer was parked and locked.
Dedric Myers is determined to help his community in Fort Bend and Harris County despite major setbacks in his mission to help the hungry.
“It’s a personal loss, but it’s a community loss because so many people depended on that,” Myers said. ....
