Spalding s Springfields Outlet, Shopping and Outlet will be reopening next week when restrictions ease.
Shoppers will be returning to the centre s 50 stores with from Monday at 9.30am when non-essential shops are allowed to open their doors once more.
Faith Horne, Marketing Manager at Springfields, said: “It’s been a long-time coming, but it’s here now. Springfields is looking its absolute best and we can’t wait to welcome you back. Thank you for being so supportive over the past weeks and months!” ....

Autistic schoolboy battles for special school place in Grantham

A seven-year-old schoolboy is battling for a place at a special needs school after being diagnosed with autism more than a year ago.
Noah Wren, of South Witham, was diagnosed with autism in 2020, and awarded an education and health care plan (ECHP) last year.
But he is still waiting for a place to become available at an educational setting that caters for his needs, despite being suspended from his mainstream school four times already due to his behaviour.
His parents, Ashley and Alex Wren, spent five years battling to get a correct diagnosis for their son. ....

More than 400,000 Lincolnshire residents have now received their first doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, along with more than 31,430 second doses meaning nearly 70% of the county’s eligible population have received a jab.
The weekly data released on Thursday shows altogether 436,083 jabs have taken place between December 8 and March 28 up 49,607, but a drop in administrations from 51,470 the week prior.
Some 404,653 of those were people receiving their first dose.
The figures show 320,754 people over the age of 50 have received their first vaccination and another 23,897 have been given their second. ....

You need car transport for serious shopping
I read with dismay your article about replacing parking spaces with cycle lanes.
We need to revitalise our town centre and attract shoppers.
If you have babies/children and a lot of shopping, a bike is no good. Serious shopping needs a car.
Springfields is very busy with shoppers when it is open – we need to bring them into town.
If the market was updated with attractive stalls and incentives for independent shops, it would offer an alternative to Springfields.
What happened to the money given to the town from Springfields? ....
