THE CCTV footage show Jordan Vaughan and Kienan Johnson celebrating their brutal attack on John Wright moments after leaving him for dead in the street.
Cleveland Police has released the footage to highlight the callous way that the pair behaved in the minutes and hours after the 41-year-old was stabbed to death in Stockton town centre last December.
The pair were working as street dealers for a well known drugs gang in the town when they were wronged by Mr Wright, who they believed had used a fake £20 note to pay for crack cocaine. ....

TWO drug dealers have been jailed for their role in the cowardly murder of an addict who used a fake £20 note to buy crack cocaine.
John Wright was attacked from behind by Jordan Vaughan and Kienan Johnson when the pair were looking to mete out a punishment beating to the 41-year-old.
Vaughan plunged a knife into the back of Mr Wright after his co-accused Johnson had already attacked him with an extendable baton.
Judge Stephen Ashurst branded the murderous attack as cowardly when he sentenced the pair at Teesside Crown Court.
CCTV footage of the pair fist-bumping after the attack has been released by Cleveland Police to highlight the callous nature of the murder. ....

Two drug dealers have been found guilty of killing a man as punishment for using fake banknotes to buy crack cocaine.
Kienan Johnson, 22, beat John Wright with a baton before Jordan Vaughan, 21, stabbed the 41-year-old in Stockton on 29 December 2019.
Jurors at Teesside Crown Court found Vaughan guilty of murder. They cleared Johnson of the same charge but found him guilty of manslaughter.
They are due to be sentenced on Friday.
The trial heard Johnson, of Windsor Road in Stockton, had intended to hit Mr Wright after he paid the pair with a fake £20 note. ....

John Wright was beaten with an extendable baton and stabbed in the back with a knife during a violent confrontation in Stockton town centre last December.
This morning Jordan Vaughan was found guilty of murder after delivering the fatal blow with a knife.
His co-accused Kienan Johnson was cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter after using the baton to deliver a series of blows to the body and legs of the 41-year-old. ....
