Davis lives two houses northwest of the fire that spread throughout the Shorewood Forest subdivision and damaged four houses and killed two dogs Tuesday afternoon. We re all in a state of shock today, Davis said of himself and fellow neighbors who live along the 400 block of Scarborough Road in Union Township.
Union Township Volunteer Fire Department Capt. Carter Werno said his department was called to Shorewood Forest at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a house on fire.
That house, in the 400 block of Scarborough Road, was engulfed in flames and had to be demolished Tuesday night, Werno said.
“It was terrifying watching it back but also very funny.” Helen was competing with four other dog groomers and was set two challenges - firstly to do the standard cut on a surprise breed, and then to do a more complex cut on a breed of her choice. Despite being given a breed she doesn’t often groom in Brighton - a cocker spaniel - Helen came in second place on her first task. LIMERICK nursing home residents are flavour of the month after contributing to a new recipe book backed by celebrity chef Darina Allen.
Friends Marie O’Hanlon, 78, and Helen Kirby, 70, along with Ellen Brennan, 80, Theresa Buston, 61, Julia Coleman, 92, Moira, 93, Bridie, 87, and Maura, 67, are among the star chefs of the Nursing Home Bake Off publication by Mowlam Healthcare.
