15-year-old arrested, charged with murder in shooting death of former CyFair ISD student

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on X, formerly known as Twitter, the 15-year-old has been charged in the shooting death of 17-year-old Jake Mason. The 15-year-old’s name has not been released. He is in custody at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
