2020 Is Predicted to End With Wintry Storms Across the Country

2020, the year that seemed to drag on forever, is likely to end with multiple snow and rainstorms across the country. 
After snowfall from Texas to Michigan left some cities with up to nine inches of snow Tuesday, precipitation and low temperatures are expected to continue into New Year's Day in the Midwest, leaving 40 million people under winter weather alerts, according to
Meanwhile, snow is expected to begin Wednesday in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest and could continue until Thursday, with accumulations from 12 to 18 inches. Rain is expected in the region at lower elevations until New Year’s Day. 
Anywhere from four to eight inches of snow is expected to fall from Nebraska to Wisconsin. Wintry weather is also expected for the south as the New Year approaches.
