A man died Saturday night after a shooting at a hotel in Phoenix, police officials said.
Phoenix police officers just before 8 p.m. responded to the shooting near Interstate 17 and Encanto Boulevard when they found a man with gunshot wounds, according to police spokesperson Sgt. Maggie Cox.
The man, later identified as Dominicko Howell, 31, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Cox said.
No further details about the shooting were provided by police Sunday. An investigation was ongoing.
