last spring, things were still really scary, you know, there were so many unknowns about transmission. I just remember I didn't go out that much, especially early in the spring, You know, when when things were and things were just really the pandemic was at its worst in New York. I think by now more people are vaccinated. More people are aware of safety protocols and and again we're more aware of. The outdoor activities are okay, so I think we're going to see even more people outside burning this spring. I hope. I think people are really eager to get out. Birding doesn't require a lot of fancy equipment. You don't have to spend a lot to go birding. But one thing you really should have binoculars, and you don't have to buy expensive ones. Normally in spring migration, the park is really crowded with regular birders. I think it's going to be even more crowded this year because of the new ones, but it's really been a source of of sublime joy. I have to honestly say, because so much of the world hasn't made me sad or mad and being able to focus on on the beauty of nature has just been extraordinary. And then even if you're not, if I'm not walking with someone, I see people, so I don't feel isolated. We're we're socially distanced, but you're connected in a human way.
