David Kern, a BHS grad who is now a vice president with TripAdvisor in Needham, is calling on private companies to help do their part in helping vaccinate our fellow neighbors and our most vulnerable residents. 
"I wanted to share this Boston Globe article and callout TripAdvisor for supporting our local community," Kern emailed the Patriot, citing a Feb. 3 article titled "TripAdvisor opens up its headquarters in Needham to distribute vaccines."
"As a former Barnstable High School graduate – it is very important that we all do our part to help one another, especially our most vulnerable residents," Kern wrote. He added that he spontaneously thought of using TripAdvisor's now-vacant HQs as a vaccine site two weeks ago over family dinner.
