Peter Dunn, 61, president of CBS Television Stations, was suspended on Monday
Associate David Friend, senior vice president for news, was also placed on leave
The two men allegedly created a hostile work environment, and Dunn was accused of using racist language at work
Former and current employees spoke to the Los Angeles Times on Sunday
They said Dunn's division of CBS had not faced the reckoning of other areas
CBS had a serious overhaul after chairman Les Moonves departed in 2018
Moonves was accused of numerous counts of sexual harassment and abuse
