Chinese IP Applications Reached Over 1.5 Million in 2021

China’s National Intellectual Property Administration released 2021 Annual Report. Highlights: invention patent applications grew 5.9%, utility model patent application filings shrunk 2.5%, design applications grew 4.6%. China’s 2021 invention authorization rate was 55%.
