Yesterday it was reported that the Arizona Coyotes would be hiring Cory Stillman as their new assistant coach. Today, that has been made official with the team announcing the hiring of Stillman.
OFFICIAL: Cory Stillman has been hired as the team’s new Assistant Coach, GM Bill Armstrong has announced.
Stillman was originally drafted 6th overall during the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames. Over the course of 16 seasons, he played in 1,025 regular-season NHL games and had 278 goals and 449 assists.
Along with the Flames he also played with the St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Ottawa Senators, and Florida Panthers. He is a two-time Stanley Cup Winner, winning it as part of the Lightning in 2004 and with the Hurricanes in 2006.
