that dictates all. he said i was not asked and would not have given. the president did not ask and it would not have been given. the measure of man he chose was not given, that's reassuring. >> you were at the white house yesterday for this lunch with the president on health care. you said that we are close to reaching a deal. you said within a margin of two votes. that is drastically different than we have heard from fellow republican colleagues. where are you close, on a full repeal vote or repeal and replace? you know the president said what the american people need is not just a repeal, they need a repeal and replace. what are you close to agreement on? >> the president was adamant about wanting a repeal. the common ground is we want to get power out of washington, d.c., return it to the patient, return it to the state. that's a good, conservative way to approach.
