‘Negative recruiting’ won’t stop at Michigan until resolution on Harbaugh’s future, ESPN analyst says

Most of Michigan’s 21 verbally committed prospects in its 2021 are expected to sign their Letters of Intent on Wednesday when the early signing period begins.
But that isn’t stopping other schools from making pushes with several of the Wolverines’ pledges. A resolution regarding head coach Jim Harbaugh’s future with the program could quell doubts recruits might be having, but Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said last week that he and Harbaugh will meet after the season to discuss the sixth-year head coach’s future heading into the final year of his contract.
