Dagen markets marching into september extending record run on wall street. Futures pointing to more gains 2, 25point gain at the moment. All throe major market gains ending in the green. Closing all newtime highs. Joining me chief Investment Officer nancy tangler. Former republican president ial candidate steve forbes and Mitch Roschelle. Nancy, how about those markets . What are the concerns for the coming months on the record run that we have seen in s p and nasdaq . It has been breath taking, dagen. Thanks for having me. We have been bullish as you know and particularly so in the tech space but this feels a little bit reminiscent of late 90s in terms of some of the underlying valuations so i still think there are place that is you can find value. Concerns, of course, around unemployment. We got great pmi numbers but employment was still weak. We would like to see employment improvement to keep economy going. Dagen i think the expectation is for 1. 4 million jobs added, that would bring the number of jobs created in may, june, july and august to little more than 10 million, 10. 7 million thereabouts but that still doesnt make up even half the jobs lost in america, more than 22 million in february, march and april, so what kind of job recovery do you expect to see here, like to basically back up whats going on in the market, what kind of job recovery do you want to see . I would like to see us step back by 7 by the end of the year Unemployment Rate, i dont know that thats going to happen because we are starting to see Companies Announce or warn that theyre going to be playoffs like the airlines have said, you know, we are going to have to lay people off unless we get more government aid. Thats about 53,000 jobs, you saw mgm announce 18,000 jobs eliminated and and number of industries cocacola and even salesforce. Com announced early Retirement Plans, so i do think that we are in a stairstep recovery and we might be flatlining for a while on the jobs front and that is something i do worry about and i dont know that we will get to my target number of 7 . Dagen in terms of those layoffs, steve forbes, the Airlines Want more bailout money. They are essentially saying, hey, we wont lay these people out if you give us more bailout money and there lie it is role of government and additional stimulus. What do you think . Steve well, its no surprise that the airlines will need more money because still people arent flying again. You have a few but in terms of volume we had before covid, nothing near what they need and so those headlines are going to be there and i think one of the dangers, i would like to get nancys view on it, flatlining on unemployment that it doesnt look like it did few months ago. How does she think will affect the election which will affect the market. We know if democrats win the economy will be in deep trouble and if the republicans win we could still have a run but when the market going to price in even though trump is doing bitter in the polls, when is the market going to pump that ds could win and that could be a disaster . Good to see you. I do think Predictive Power of the market historically begins in august to end of october, insight of who the market expects the new president to be and bullish market is obviously better for incumbent so its difficult to tell with all of the liquidity in the system that if the market is responding to liquidity. We wrote a piece on july 15th where we thought the market had legs and we are up 10 , 60 off the bottom. So i dont know if we are getting the Predictive Power but i think the markets are pretty sanguine and the president has stepped in with the payroll tax cuts for workers and the additional supplement to unemployment through executive order as you well know. I think we are still seeing spending and if you go i was in florida last week, the mall was packed, packed. Dagen stores are packed around the country, nancy. Mitch, before we go nancy seems to be suggesting or not divided government, regardless of who is in the white house you have a backdrop in terms of fighting the virus and the economy and the need for stimulus that the money will keep pouring in or coming out of washington and that joe biden if elected in november wouldnt dare raise corporate taxes because that essentially takes money away from job creation and higher higher wages. Mitch yeah, dagen, i dont think that the market has priced in potential bidenharris policy and i think thats going to happen when debate happens and theres hopefully conversation around policy differences especially in what bidens tax plan would be because the market is hoping for growth in 2021 and if tax policy were curtail, the mark will react to think. This is unusual recession, margins at highest level than they have ever been. Same with Consumer Confidence oddly enough. We are watching and waiting, but i might say that the market is beginning to anticipate some of the political changes that we may see. Dagen so youre saying look out below potentially . Maybe. [laughter] dagen nancy, good to see you, thank you so much for being here. Nancy tengler. Amc entertainment to open 140 theaters by thursday. U. S. Youre watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Dentd through retirement. Dagen President Trump pledging 1 million to police, the president warning cities hes ready to send in federal forces to restore order. If they are watching, portland or chicago or new york or anyone of other cities that we are talking about, but portland probably would be so easy, maybe that would be the first one because i see it every night its on the news, its burning, they are always playing games. We are ready, willing and able to send in, you know, massive up from of people that are really highly trained. You saw that through your experience, right, and we could solve that problem in less than an hour. I hope they call and eventually theyll call and at some point we will have to do it ourselves. Joining me attorney Fox News Contributor ted williams. Ted, great to see you as always. Why dont the leaders and the states, i for the life of me dont understand why the governor of oregon wont call in the National Guard or ask for assistance. I dont understand how a mayor like ted wheeler in portland can stand back and allow to continue and want Law Enforcement from outside the city from other counties to come in and youve had Law Enforcement leaders say from those other counties, no way. Dagen, let me say youre spoton of not understanding when you think about the fact that we asked governor to call on National Guard and the they refused to, you wonder whats going on, are political games played here within wisconsin there. Its frightening. The citizens are suffering, the businesses are suffering and this is a side commentary of where we are in america at this stage. Dagen ted, how does it stop or end because the American People particularly the people in the cities, you see it here in new york, what happens when the Police Departments are not supported not just in funding but just in by the leadership of these cities and states . And you just said it, the leadership of cities and states, really they have let citizenry down and you look look at metropolitan cities you will find Police Officers and morale terribly low and we need Police Officers to protect and serve various communities and thats a sad commentary. You know, let me just say to our audience, Police Officers dont get up white or black and put on a uniform and say we want to go out and kill somebody. That does not happen and we are now divideed unfortunately between white and black and white Police Officers are out there killing black people and they are purposely doing it. There are situations unfortunately that Police Officers cannot help themselves from being in and they have to take action to protect the community as well as themselves. Dagen i want to bring up this, theres a warning that gangs across chicago have made a pact to kill Police Officers. Shoot Police Officers on site if they have their weapon drawn on public, your reaction to this . Thats a sad state of affairs of where we are in the country right now. Theres no respect for Police Officers, chicago is out of control and i can tell you the president sent in about 100 agents not too long ago into chicago, thats not going to do anything in chicago. Its out of control city and in some states the national calls in there. Dagen thats part of operation legend where federal officers have come in in investigative capacity to help local Law Enforcement but in terms of gangs, if youre talking about a racketeering enterprise and organized enterprise that is trafficking guns, those are federal crimes and you can charge even murder and theres a role for the fbi and the feds to come in if they can prove that this is gang activity. Oh, absolutely, they need to come in in a ferocious manner into various cities because again without being redundant they are terribly out of control at this state and i think the federal bureau of investigation as well as some of the other federal agencies can be of some assistance there, dagen. Dagen ted, great to see you, thank you so much. Always come back soon. Coming up one Business Owner joining President Trump in kenosha speaking about protests in that city, back in a minute. The amazon vans have a decal that says, shipment zero. Were striving to deliver a package with zero emissions in to the air. I feel really proud of the impact that has on the environment. But were always striving to be better. I love being outdoors, running in nature. We have two daughters. I want to do everything i can to protect the environment to make sure they see the same beauty ive seen in nature. My goal is to lead projects that affect the world. I know that to be great requires hard work. i need it so bad dont call it a hobby. Its way more than just a job. This is how we live every single day. Can we go and play . roaring of engines i needed to try needed to fall i needed your love im burning away i need never get old im burning away so youre a small bor a big one. Dagen President Trump visiting kenosha, wisconsin looking firsthand look, meeting with Law Enforcement as well, the trip coming despite pleas from the mayor and the wisconsin governor that he stay away. President trump slamming those rioting in the streets. Steve, what do you think of the president s visit . Steve i thought it was wise move to do and the mayor and governor did not want him to come and cannot control states and cities anymore. Its frightening the American People and one of the things that i would hope to be coming out in future days is going against groups like antifa, are they going to use Something Like the rero act, the racketeering act, people coming out of out of state stoking things, initial protests, professional socalled come in. You see it most in portland. The president underscored the American People are not on the side and politically wisconsin swing state. I think the mayor and the governor ended up helping the president and i think the president providing money for local Law Enforcement official, a pinstripe, we are here to help you with resources. Dagen what about rhetoric of joe biden, this is trumps america and trumps fault despite that President Trump has overred help to the cities and states and mayors and have declined it. President trump is the man called, dictator, hes an authoritarian figure and he will take over the whole country and thats, in fact, not what he has done, steve. Steve now, when these far leftist talk about things, criticizing others they are usually describing themselves, they are the ones that are authoritarian for shutting down free debate and trampling on the Second Amendment, First Amendment right to free speech and so they describe themselves and the fact that joe biden now he may be out of the basement but the fact of the matter is they are the ones in the bubble in terms of the American People, you see it on the screens every night. Its out of control. Trump is not the mayor of portland, the governor of wisconsin or anything like that and he offers to help and i think its relatively low key approach we offer today help but if youre not going to do it we will try to come in and help Law Enforcement even if local officials wont, thats a very good state craft move, statesman move. Dagen mitch, listen to joe biden and Kamala Harris from yesterday. This is about the future, this is the United States of america. Any time weve ever set our mind to something weve never failed as long as weve done it together. Thats right. Constant effort to split us just seems to me to be so counterproductive. We are better than that. We are. Dagen well, mitch, joe biden has no problem talking about rightwing militias and supremacists and vigilantes and in the speech other day he couldnt mention antifa. Mitch yeah, because you Say Something over and over again that doesnt make it true and the fact of the matter is if you look at videos you see what the trouble looks like and it doesnt look like theres a bunch of quote, unquote White Supremacists in the streets and i see a lot of those folks in the whole black, the helmets, those are the ones that are causing the trouble and i think that, you know, you shine the right light on the situation and americans will realize where the problems are. Dagen thank you, gentlemen, coming up washed out Speaker Nancy Pelosi caught on camera at a california salon breaking coronavirus lockdown rules. Well, more gun sales last month than any other august on record. Report says fbi data shows 1. 6 million guns were sold last month. 57 increase compared to august of last year. Gun sellers say the uptick comes amid concerns over pandemic and protests across the country, dagen. Those are your headlines. Dagen thank you so much, cheryl, a trip to hair salon backfiring, footage obtained by foxnews. Com shows House Speaker nancy pelosi getting her hair done, not wearing a mask inside a San Francisco salon despite local rules ordering them to be closed. The salons owner blasting pelosi saying its a slap in the face that she could break rules while others are restricted. Pelosis office saying in a statement the speaker always wears a mask and complies with local covid requirements. This business offered for the speaker to come in on monday and told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business. The peaker complied with the rules as presented to her by this establishment. Joining me now the federalist Senior Editor Chris Bedford. Rules for thee and not for me. Chris this is a classic example and being defended on this. If you look a day before on other cable station pelosi was saying that those people who dont wear a mask or dont follow rules are bad people that want to hurt their neighbors. She said donald trump was destroying scientists, slapping science for not following the mask protocols that she herself habit been following which she doesnt think shes on camera but its wild to reresponses that weve gotten. We know that press corp. Worships nancy pelosi and thinks shes a hero. Tweeting that it might be illegal to release footage. The problem is not with pelosi but salon owner leaking footage to fox news. Thats pretty insane for a reporter. Dagen that was wound of the one of the highlights of the night for me on social media but is that the reasons that the materializing from the democrats, democratic leadership about not just President Trump but all republicans really, the, oh they are just deplorables cling to go their guns and bibles and thats why the moralizing doesnt work. Its been a while to see memory lapse that weve experienced here. Remember that one month period up to november 2016 when democrats said, wow, we shouldnt have called people deplorable, maybe something that we are missing, maybe theres a whole working class thats been forgotten out there. How quickly was that forgotten . They are running the exact same playbook right now, call people racist, attack trump supporters, villanies anybody who stands against them and even possibly losing the rust belt that joe biden really needs to win back in order to win the presidency. It looks like 2016 repeat. Dagen has to listen to Governor Cuomo, Governor Cuomo tweets wear your mask and gets caught outside in a photograph not wearing a mask or blame his order order killed elderly people in nursing home and you get upset elderly people dying because of his hands, livelihoods have been destroyed by the onerous orders but she circumvented and want to moralize about it. I know a bunch of the hair dressers who have been shut and difficult its been to get by and making a living, the salon owner freelancers who rent chairs can go in one at a time and they are supposed to follow the rules and doesnt appear that the speaker did here and shes angry, shes a single mother with two children, shes struggling to support them and people like gavin newsom are holding her down. I was just out in california and been to a couple of places that were locked down and it is surprising so far to see disconnect between the regulations destroying peoples lives and businesses and the politicians that are enforcing them. Theres people that live in california, the state should travel around a little bit outside of the state and realize that life is returning to normal in a large swath of the United States. They dont have to live like this and leaders that are doing this to them. Maria lets talk about massachusetts, senate primary, incumbent senator beat kennedy, First Time Ever a member of the Kennedy Family lost a race in the state of massachusetts. Kennedy was backed by none other than House Speaker nancy pelosi and congresswoman alexandria ocasiocortez was backing marky the president weighing on twitter earlier this morning. See, even a kennedy is isnt safe in new radical left. Taxes up big, no Second Amendment, biden has completely lost control. Pelosi strongly backed the loser. Chris, what do you make of this . Is this more of a kennedy issue or issue for the party itself . This is my home state and i was paying a little attention to this and it was interesting. I dont read it as issue for the party itself. I think the kennedy misread the situation and may have been right to do so. A year ago he looked like a popular person to knock out markey. The problem for him is the senate incumbent he was challenging is very popular with the left. Hes original endorserser for medicaid for all and backer of the green new deal. The guy has leftwing credentials as other massachusetts democrats at least on the federal level, has leftwing credential completely intact and you have alexandria ocasiocortez the face of the young allegedly filming ads against kennedy, that will mark him. He was suppose today run for governor and declined that saying he wanted to stay in house of representatives two years ago, im wondering whats next for young mr. Kennedy. Dagen in the ad he misspelled [laughter] chris was it. Its a tough one. Dagen i was married from somebody from wista. Joe biden and the Democratic Party will show recordbreaking 300 million raised in august following Kamala Harris joining the ticket. How would they spend the money and would it make a difference . Chris the amount of money is pretty surprising, excuse me. He had a big month in august, he had dnc and announced Kamala Harris coming in. How is he going to spend it because right now kamala doesnt help him she raised for him in california and new york, places shes already going to win. He need to be raising votes in wisconsin and mitch again and missouri, and pennsylvania and places that are threatened and the blue wall that they come to count on but suspect much isnt much of a blue wall at all. Both have more money than ive seen in politics before. Dagen do you think he will give more speeches like the one he gave earlier this week where he talked about rightwing militias and White Supremacists and didnt condemn antifa and now the New York Times are writing about rightwing groups increasingly moving to confront protestors in u. S. Cities, that again the narrative is making it about the right and not the people on the ground committing looting, rioting, setting buildings on fire and destroying cities . Chris every day since the russia narrative that we were all subjected to for over a year i have been increasingly amazed at how willing the media is further willing to go to push narratives and first there was no violence and then rightwing violence. This is insane and its difficult narrative to push and if joe biden doesnt come out and condemn antifa and black lives matter will have a difficult time in states like wisconsin that are on fire at this time. Dagen the only time that you had sustained outrage among leftwing community was when it was a vigilant who killed 2 people in kenosha, wisconsin. That was the first time that you had outrage because they could easily pin it on the right. Its the only time that they cared about unrest, violence, peoples livelihoods being destroyed, its when it benefited them politically and they could point to the right only time, Chris Bedford, i will leave it at that. You keep at it. Thats absolutely true. Thank you. Dagen great to see you, Chris Bedford from the federalist. We will speak with one Business Owner who joined President Trump in kenosha yesterday about recent violence in the city. Tomorrow i will be joined by Trump Organization donald trump, jr. Talking about unrest in america, all things 2020, youre watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Dagen helping kenosha, President Trump pledging 1 million to the wisconsin City Police Department and 4 million to Small Businesses hurt by the recent unrest. Joining me now the owner of authentic gifts and report candle factory in kenosha, kimberly warner, you heard the president s promise in person, what do you make of that and what does the city need right now . Well, first of all, incredible experience. I was trying not to fall over, my knees were shaking so much, but at the end of the day, you know, our downtown and uptown is completely destroyed and looks like a war zone. Ive never seen anything like this in my entire life and certainly we didnt accept it, but the devastation, i dont know how to put it into words. Every single business was affected in my downtown area in some way, shape or form so what we truly need now and weve got an incredible community, everyone has come together. Weve gotten so much support, so many volunteers, people coming from, you know, other places, other cities wanting to help, all of my customers coming in, what can we do and help city of downtown, clean up, brooms cleaning up glass and Incredible Connection and definitely what we need is Financial Assistance to rebuild the town. I mean, there are memories, you know, hundreds of years of bricks now just laying on the floor, so we are a midwestern town. We love our community and we definitely love our downtown. Dagen is optimism there, kimberly, to rebuild, is that the collective feeling among all those people, that its kind of even a responsibility to all the other Business Owners and community to stay there and come back . 100 . You know, over the past few days earlier, i dont know if i would have been able to say that because we were sort of living in fear so definitely the air has shifted and everyone that the president asked yesterday that was with me who did have businesses that were literally destroyed, everything, gone, one being 103yearold shop, the history, you cant put words to that. Every single one of them was committed to rebuilding and i know that in our downtown, our downtown kenosha, we have been doing volunteering and getting through and trying to help the people that were displaced from the 36 plus fires that happened in the uptown area but definitely there is hope, you know, much like me, im 5 feet tall lady, we are a Small Community but we are mighty. Dagen great to see you, kimberly, please be safe, please come back. We want to hear how kenosha is doing. Kimberly warner, coming up. Keep watching the skies, birds are not the only thing that we are at least looking for during lockdown. The morning buzz up next. Dagen time for the morning buzz, first up, eating mcdonalds fries and ketchup without the mess. Today years old reveals a simple hack on twitter, fold over the flap on the fry container and put the ketchup there, convenient and neat spot for dipping, mitch, what do you say . Mitch first of all, do i my mcdonalds french fries while im driving a car and you dont have ketchup anywhere where youre driving a car. I prefer dining in than use top of the ketchup but i digress. Dagen steve when they did forbes on fox, you used to take entire cast out for wendys after they filmed it. How do you eat your fries, ketchup and no ketchup and how do you avoid mess . Steve thats the thing. Im not sure the method will avoid the mess. When you have a fries, you have napkins nearby and enjoy it and so the idea that you can do this neat. I think mitch is right whether its in a car or sitting down, forget about it. You will have a good time. Its not time for cleanliness, yes, but just expect spills and laundry mats will do well after you visit mcdonalds. Dagen next theres something out there, ufo site sightings on the rise. Steve, it appears bird watching has been replaced. Steve well, you can make jokes about the country going to the birds, but in terms of april was the big surge in the sightings. Thats when we were all lockdown, instead of stir crazy but star crazy. Not many airplanes up there, more clear skies. What i was missing stories about alien abductions. I dont know if aliens have to wear masks if they come to the earth. I was kidnapped or maybe some of our political leaders were, i will leave it at that. [laughter] dagen final you, you might start seeing robot dogs walking halls of hospitals, mit developing a robot that check patients vital signs, could reduce exposure to the coronavirus. Mitch, what do you make of this . Mitch its interesting, dagen, we were talking about the labor market which was incredibly tight, we were talking about the threat of robots takes jobs away from humans. Interesting twist to bring robot to market. Advancement in technology will take your temperature. The fact of the matter its inevitable and we will see more and more Technology Like this. Dagen i personally want to see more and more actual dogs in hospitals. When my mom was recovering from a stroke there was another patient on the neurological floor that had a service dog with him who was helping take care of him and it was magical for everyone on the floor. I knew that was going to beat because theyve got that afterschool or that good backtoschool sales and also they have athleta. Let me tell you, we need to see beats across the board on retail to keep this rally going. Now, i know that analysts are always going to say, hey, theyre losing money, macys is a dog. I think macys is a dog. Its always going to be a dog. But what were really keeping an eye on is how much surprise these Retail Stores have picked up. Everything is beating right now. But i think its going to be those Specialty Stores that are theyre selling stuff people want, casual stuff, athome. I think it is alive and well. The only Thing Holding back these places is the ability to reopen. When you look at the ecommerce numbers and you look at how much is flowing through those channels, i mean, its parabolic, it looks like teslas stock. I would say as long as keep seeing these doggie, doggie retailers, the macys of the world, really beat on ecommerce, i think the economy is going to show gradual improvement. Dagen speaking of the economy, the august jobs report is coming out on friday, rebecca, what are you expecting, what to watch . I think today is going to give us an indicator with the adp report coming out today, were looking for 950,000 today, up over the 167,000 that we got in july. And that will be an indicator, if were getting good numbers today, then were expecting friday to be good and we need a good indicator. But honestly, dagen, i dont expect us to have these tremendous numbers because as you know, the country is still mostly shut down. There are policies that are so sporadic throughout and were not back to sports, were not back to theaters, were not back to restaurants and bars en masse. I dont see a huge higher even though we had ism manufacturing come in, those indicators are really good. The Commerce Department really good for orders. If we dont reopen, were not going to expect a huge job surge. Who is hiring on a mass scale when most of the economy is still on the retail and service side, still shut down for the most part. Dagen moving into september, markets marching into september, looking to extend the august record run. Katie, can the markets keep up this pace if we see a slowdown in job creation, if we see a slowdown in the comeback . I would say that th the marks probably pretty vulnerable to any news thats not perceived positively. New alltime highs have been registered by the major of indices, and weve seen impressive upside follow through for the s p 500 which cleared final resistance at the february high. That followthrough has generated an overbought reading in market sentiment. So sentiment has gotten pretty greedy. With that greedy sentiment sometimes you get a tape thats a bit skittish and can turn on a dime. Dagen can you talk about the market historically ahead of an election and given the backdrop now with the shutdown and the unprecedented stimulus coming from the federal reserve, can we read into, given the val uniteds that youre talking about or of the precarious state of the market if you will what might happen in the coming months ahead of the november election . Well, i look at the markets from a technical perspective, primarily focusing on things like momentum. Right now the market does have momentum, you can see it this morning in the s p futures. I do expect downside volatility to unfold in the month of september before another upleg into the election. The election is naturally some kind of catalyst for the market, i think more like throw the downside but just as a corrective phase within the scope of what is positive longterm momentum and these breakouts that we have seen, whether its the nasdaq 100, the s p 500, these are major longterm breakouts and they bode well for upside followthrough even if we get some downside volatility around the election. Oftentimes when we get these pullbacks, as difficult as they are to live through, they provide opportunities to add exposure. Right now, its very difficult to justify chasing some of these large cap tech stocks that look so great from a monson perspective but have that issue you in terms of the overbought reading. Dagen katie, thank you so much, along with thanks to rebecca and lee monson. Great to see you all. Coming up, saving capitalism, one investors plan to make every newborn a millionaire by retirement. I discovered my great aunt ruth signed up as a nursing cadet for world war ii. You see this scannedin, handwritten document. The most striking detail is her age. She was only 17. Knowing that she saw this thing happening and was brave enough to get involved and do something that was eye opening. Find an honor your ancestors who served in world war ii. Their stories live on at ancestry. Dagen a different kind of stimulus, bill akman told end vesters that a way to save capitalism is to close the income inequality gap. His idea to address it, investment accounts for every child. Every kid. He suggests that every child born in the u. S. Would receive nearly 7,000 in a government funded basket of index funds that could only be tapped at retirement. Steve, what do you think of this idea . Steve i like the idea of the Government Spending something not on some plan that does nothing. And wasting peoples money. But on this thing, the real challenge, dagen, is the details. What index funds are you going to put in there . What stocks are going to be in the index funds . Should you include bonds . What if you want to remove a particular stock that has political power . And who owns these things that if the child passes away at the age of 60 or gets killed in an Automobile Accident . And youre going to see huge pressure as these things accumulate assets to direct those assets to political purposes. Already you heard talk in the Previous Administration about using your own 401k money for a political purpose or putting a cap on it. And so, yeah, nice idea but the details i think are going to be the killer of it and especially who inherits this thing and there are going to be political pressures to tap into it, to buy a house, pay medical bills. So, yeah, intriguing. Better than the bankrupt Social Security system we have now or of will be for younger people, but the challenge is going to be in the details. Dagen but mitch, do you like the idea or do you think it would help close the inequality gap and give every person born in the United States a sense of, well, ownership in private companies, you know, not with Social Security you never see it and youre essentially loaning uncle sam money through that. This would be ownership stake in businesses. Maria i think its actually a very intriguing idea to steal steves word. If you just look at it, there were roughly 3. 8 million children born in the United States this most recent census data, so the cost of this would be around 26 billion a year. So if you think about it, the government putting tons of money, trillions of dollars on the Balance Sheet, why not take that Balance Sheet and give it to sort of every american and let them own a piece of of enterprise in america. I think its very interesting. It would get everybody put everybody on a level Playing Field in terms of wealth and it could solve the longterm challenges with Social Security. I think its very intriguing. I agree with steve, the devils in the details but i like innovative ideas and i like giving people a sense of ownership in this country and businesses in this country. Dagen steve, that was my reaction to the idea, is why not lets shoot for the moon and try different things, even if it is initiated by government. Because a lot of our savings, our Financial Management in this country, what medicare the trusts, the Hospital Trust fund runs out of money in a few years so we need to do something different. Steve we do indeed. This also underscores why we should allow personal accounts for Social Security for younger people. Where their labor, its not a gift from government, their work is producing those assets, they own it, not the government and they cant do it for people above the age of 40 but below age 40, 35, yes, bring in these kinds of accounts where Social Security would be creating capital rather than destroying capital. So, yes, and by golly, in terms of inequality, the best thing to do is remove these barriers to this economy fully functioning where people can get salaries, get ahead, and i think youre going to see major changes in the next few years, especially in the area of how we finance healthcare going from third party to where patients actually control the assets. So i think bill akman, tip the hat to him, hes put an intriguing idea on the table but it also underscores government up to now has been a destroyer of capital, not a creator of capital. Kudos to bill akman getting us thinking about changes, not only with that, but Social Security and how we finance healthcare. Dalos is a wellness, real estate and Technology Company that has been merging the Health Sciences with the Building Sciences for quite some time. Weve had Ongoing Research collaborations with the world, we have the mayo and Cleveland Clinic for years. This particular project here with schools, two essential components to this solution. One, we needed to find technology that was effective in filtering ultra fine particles. Two, more importantly or just as importantly, Scalable Solutions that could fit into any type of building, clearly with School Classrooms being of different sizes and the buildings different ages. Dagen what about the opportunity nationwide . Yeah, well, new york city has been recently been a model in terms of how to effectively reopen and this is something that can scale across the country as far as Effective Solutions in terms of how to bring people back, kids back. Dagen Mitch Roschelle . Mitch the question is beyond just the simple element of purifying the air, what are the other safety pr precautions that schools in particular need to take to eliminate some of the risks of the spread of the virus . Yeah, effectively there are three components we need to really consider here. Theres an airborne viral load that needs to be considered. A surface borne viral load, the things we touch and then a behavioral borne viral load. Looking at all three of those can lead to the most Effective Solutions. Dagen steve forbes . Steve paul, i was wondering if youve had an opportunity to look at placings where schools have reopened, europe, germany, australia and others, and what lessons have been learned there in terms of safety, what have they done right, what have they done wrong and even in schools around the country where there have been some reopenings, what have we learned from real world experience in terms of safety here. I think you look at first off the local population rate of infection or immunity, what have you and thats obviously a key driver. Really the core fundamental issue here, at least one of the components, is Indoor Air Quality and effective filtration. This is a fundamental part of the solution. Dagen i will point, paul, to a story that was thats in the wall street journal, i think it was published yesterday, that the title of it is the key to preventing covid19 indoors is ventilation. And so i was curious what you think about the fact that restaurants, Indoor Dining in new york is still not open. And what the city could do to make to facilitate that and to get these restaurants back and to save these businesses and these livelihoods. I think when you take an evidencebased approach and apply science and get down to, for instance, factual elements of laboratory tested efficiency on air filtration, for instance, this as an example, 99. 97 efficient, down to a micron size of 0. 007. Thats smaller than the covid. Thats the way to look at this from an evidence based approach and clearly ventilation is key. Buildings and spaces may not be able to have that appropriate ventilation. The portable, wallmounted units are effective ways to get to those outcomes. Dagen paul. Great to see you. Thank you. Come back. Thanks for having me. Dagen this as democratic president ial nominee, joe biden, hosted a conversation with running mate Kamala Harris yesterday, accusing the president of dividing americans. This is about the future. This is the United States of america. Any time weve ever set our mind to something, weve never failed as long as weve done it together. Thats right. This constant effort to split us just seems to me to be so counterproductive. Thats right. Were better than this. We are. Dagen joining me now mdc partners ceo, former Senior Advisor to the clintons, mark penn. What do you make of the two messages from President Trump addressing violence that kind of in a halfway joe biden has addressed too, this kind of word casserole of we need to come together. Well, look, there are two pretty starkly different messages. I think biden and harris are really saying, look, trump doesnt have the character to continue to be president. And look, i think trumps kenosha visit worked yesterday. I think there was a lot of fear thrown out of, there would be chaos, that he wasnt wanted but he showed up with local politicians and police. Youd have to say that it worked and fears were overblown. Dagen talk about what this Campaign Stops at least looking so President Trumps going to North Carolina today. Joe biden gave that speech earlier in the week in pennsylvania. Is being on the ground in these swing states important for both candidates . Ill point to the swing state polling, the average of the polls in the important swing states, joe biden, although ahead of President Trump, in virtually almost all of them, he is still underperforming where Hillary Clinton was in 2016 in those states. Well, whether or not biden is underperforming isnt that relevant because trump is much more of a known quantity, so theres Less Movement thats really possible in the polls. So id kind of caution on that. I think the most critical polls are going to be the ones that we see next week, after i think americans really have digested the conventions and whether or not we see the kind of momentum that i think has been indicated or whether or not its been blunted by biden and harris getting out. I think these visits to swing states are absolutely critical. They generate tremendous amounts of local press, local connections and support. Even if they dont have the big rallies. Dagen i want to turn to the Massachusetts Senate primary. Incumbent beating the challenger, joe kennedy, the first time a member of the Kennedy Family lost a race in the state of massachusettes. Kennedy was backed by nancy pelosi. On markeys side was alexandria ocasiocortez. The president weighing in earlier this morning, see, even a kennedy isnt safe in the new radical left democrat party, taxes up big, no Second Amendment. Biden has completely lost control. Pelosi strongly backed the loser. Mark, what do you make of the kennedy defeat . It looked like it was in the cards. He couldnt even spell the word worcester correct. I the polls showed kennedy was going to go down. Nevertheless, i think the progressive or left wing can claim that as a victory. I think it continues to send a message to other politicians in the party, you know, get the support of the left if you want to win primaries and i think it continues to send a message to senator schumer, will aoc challenge him in a primary and a thats going to keep him considerably to the left during the next couple of years. Dagen youve seen this in joe bidens campaign, that some of his policies are certainly driven by the far left, maybe even some of the well, lack of rhetoric or lack of messaging on this violence that youve seen in major cities, whether its portland, seattle, kenosha, wisconsin, that hes trying to hes trying to court the very radical left of his party. He continues to do that, not so well. Well, generally in the old style of campaigning, democrats would kind of go to the left during the primaries and then move to the center during the general election. Look, i think that joe biden has been a moderate throughout his life. I wouldnt say that its settled that hes captive to the far left. Thats the argument that i think trump and their Campaign Want to make. And whether or not biden really adopts some of these policies or comes out more in the center is what i think were going to see in the debates which is really the first one on one conversation were going to really see here. Dagen he does debate, though. Oh, he does debate. I dont think theres any question about that. Dagen why would nancy pelosi float that trial balloon, then . That just seems bizarre. Well, nancy pelosi floats a lot of things. So i dont think that was a planned democratic message of the time. Dagen i want to move on to their fund raising. Joe biden and the Democratic Party will reportedly show a recordbreaking 300 million raised last month, that follows Kamala Harris joining the ticket as well as the convention. But the race does appear to be tightening. Lets talk about the polls. New National Polls this morning from usa today show that joe biden holds a 7 point lead over President Trump. But that number, that margin is shrinking during the same period in june, joe biden held a 12 point lead. That is a national poll, mark. But what do you expect to see in because the polls have tightened. And it raises the issue of the safety of the American People and is President Trump doing more to stand up for those businesses destroyed, those livelihoods that have been completely wiped out by this violence, the looting, the arson, the unrest, the mayhem they these cities while joe biden has been kind of waffly on it. Well, look, i think these polls now are going to be driven by the two vs. The virus, where trump was doing well but in the last two months he collapsed about 10 of points. And i think that opened up a lead for biden. And violence, where trump has really taken a strong law and order after particularly seemed to catch wind after what happened in kenosha and that seems to be bringing him back somewhat. Whether or not its going to be enough and whether or not he can overcome the deficit in the virus is really what i think were going to see in the next couple of weeks here. Dagen how would you change joe bidens response to the violence, what did you make of the speech earlier this week where he liked to call out White Supremacists and right wing radicals but never mentioned antifa . It seemed like very lopsided criticism, lopsided outrage and condemnation. Well, the American Public really wants it all, you know. They really do want Police Reform and they really do want kind of security and safety. And i think they dont want either candidate to give them a choice of one or the other. And i think the candidate who says its a false choice is the candidate who is going to do strongest on this issue. Dagen if you were President Trump, this is something that kristin solstice anderson brought up earlier in the week, if you were trump you would message he did criminal Justice Reform and senator tim scott had a bill that the democrats even refused to send to the floor of the senate to debate on Police Reform. Would you message that if you were trump . Yeah, look, give trump his message, but i think youre t quitquite right, that putting together support for Police Reform and for safety and security, right, whether or not youre trump or whether or not youre biden, choosing on the one hand, hey, were going to be primarily about reform or on the other hand, were going to be primarily about law and order, the public really wants both. And thats where the center really will decide here this election and theyre going to look for the candidate, whether it is trump or biden, that can bridge the gaps. Dagen does the message from joe biden that this is all trumps fault, i understand that hes the president of the United States but he offered help to these cities who refused it, its all trumps fault, does that message work . Well, i dont think the blame game, again, gets either candidate particularly far here. You know, particularly in the home stretch. People want to know what youre going to do and how youre going to change things. So i think its good that biden and harris addressed the violence. I think whether or not they blame trump or not just goes over the heads of voters. Its not really what moves them. Dagen mark, great to see you. Thank you so much. We covered a lot of ground. Much appreciated. Thank you. Dagen coming up you, the silent killer, doctors warning of a new health risk targeting younger men. You dont want to miss this discussion. Thats why its time for Digital Currency and your investment in the grayscale funds. Go digital. Go grayscale. Dagen beach bummer vacations a thing of the past for many during the pandemic, big tech now looking to change all that. Lauren simonetti explains how Big Technology companies are helping people get away safely. Hey, lauren. Its hard to do, dagen but its possible. Lets write 2020 off as the year of the road trip and 2021, that could be the year of revenge travel. So many people have had honeymoons and destination weddings and big trips canceled this year and i think people are waiting for 2021 when we hopefully have a vaccine or at least really good testing to plan trips of a lifetime. So we definitely see it at point sky an increase in interest in 2021 bookings versus the second half of 2020. But before we pop the cork on the new year, a last minute labor day getaway might be in the cards. Im going to show you how Technology Makes the planning of that a lot easier. So theres a website called google travel, shows you the percentage of flights operating and hotels with availability, plus the number of covid19 cases in each area that you search and then they have this new free cancellation filter. It gives you lodging options that have no penalty cancellations. Experts also recommend downloading both the airline and the hotel apps individually that you plan to use. Lower floor rooms are actually in higher demand, less time on the elevator, easier to take the stairs. So really, equipping yourself with the Technology Tools to reduce face time and get yourself whether a better room or seat on the plane. But in the meantime, driving might be your preferred option. I cannot tell you how many rvs ive seen on the road lately. The most popular road trip google searches in the past month, thing out west, california as well as oregon, also key west, new orleans and alaska. Alaska might be a little tough for a road trip but all of it might be pricey. Parts of the country in high demand are charging equally high prices. I cannot tell you how many weekends i tried to plan in the ham tons or the jersey hamptons or the jersey shore and the prices are astronomical. The biggest concern of all, money and technology cannot fix, and the issue here is the inconvenience and the anxiety of adapting to these covid quarantine rules that are difficult to understand and they keep changing. So yes, you want to go away. But can you come back . And i dont think technology or money has a fix for that, dagen. Dagen ive always said this, lauren. Before you go anywhere in the world, make sure you drive across the United States. You go to the four corners area. Northern arizona, southern youd you tau and even utah, even nevada, just the desert and rock forformations and arches in canyonland where john ford filmed a lot of his westerns in monument valley, its literally one of the most beautiful things on earth. I encourage that. But you better know how to drive an rv if youre renting one because theyre big. Try finding one. Thats the issue. Dagen if you you see an rv on the road, i might just pull over and let it pass. Which lane. Dagen pull over of, get off at the nearest exit and wait it out. Coming up, were taking a look at what stock is on the move ahead of the opening bell and battling the quarantine 15, the pandemic spawning a new fashion trend, yes. Trend, next. Baby, give it. Give it up, baby, give it up. Dagen time for morning buzz, first up, if youre hitting the snack cabinet a little too much during quarantine, dont worry. Mens fashion is now loosening the belt, offering oversize clothes as more people outgrow their old duds, designerring harkening back to the grunge area, made popular by nirvana and pearl jam. What do you make of this . Mitch im not breaking out the flannel like nirvanas grunge fans. I have not worn a pair of suit pants since i was last in the studio on march 11th, i believe. So i have no idea if i put weight on. I have walked by a scale, i havent stepped on it. To me, wearing a pair of suit pants is the way to know if youve put on a couple extra pounds. Dagen matt, our stage manager, and i can both confirm that and second that and third that because i neither matt nor i have worn any pants or shorts that didnt have elastic in the waist since march. I dont know if i gained weight. Maybe, maybe not. Who cares. Next, kindness counts, being generous with your money, your carrying and your love can actually help you live longer, a new study shows that while Financial Security helps longevity, giving back can make you feel even better. Steve, people dont know this, but youre actually 250 because thats what because you are one of the most generous, kind, caring people ive ever met. So i know you agree with this. Steve well, youre very, very kind with your comments. And just get to the biblical thing, its more blessed to give than to receive. I think what makes the u. S. Unique, not only are we a commercial nation, also the most philanthropic nation that ever existed, its about interacting with people, helping with people. The idea that this can help you live longer, make you a more generous spirit, especially after what weve gone through with covid, we need that. This research couldnt be more timely. Lets focus not on our own problems, but making sure others have a better life as well. That makes us better as well. Mitch its kind of like an electronic shock collar to say focused, people. Who is collecting all the data of what were looking at and what happens to it . So im all for technology and innovations but a pair of glasses sort of remembering what im looking at, that does frighten me a little bit. Dagen steve, real quick remarks do you think . Steve i think it was invented for journalists who are great procrastinators, if it wasnt for deadlines, nothing would get done. Mitch is right, hacking in, i dont want other people seeing what im looking at and i can see comedians having fun with spouses or friends or things like that, what have you been looking at . Democratic running mates Voting Rights long term plans for america beyond the coronavirus. Well, lets talk. Mnuchin is ready to make a deal with nancy pelosi on a covid19 stimulus bill, cold a Congressional Panel more money is needed but there are areas where the administration and democrats agree. Pelosi countered saying there are serious differences on new legislation. Stimulus last month both sides unable to revolve one trilliondollar gap. Kennedy familying winning streak to end markey he defeated kennedy in a primary overnight kennedy backed by nancy pelosi is the first in family to lose election, in that state. Headlines see you 15 for adp back to you. Dagen thank you, cheryl joining the conversation, all morning long steve forbes and Mitch Roschelle, love spending time with you two gentlemen move to another gentlemen President Trump visiting kenosha, wisconsin a firsthand look at damage from protests overshooting of jacob blake trump slamming roadwayoting in streets so that violent did he moish 25 businesses burned down buildings threw bricks at Police Officers didnt stand for it not peaceful protest the domestic terror. Joe biden accusing president making effort to split us in you the latest conversation with running mate Kamala Harris. This is the United States of america. Any time weve ever set our mind to something we have never failed as long as we have done it together, constant effort to split us. Just seems to me he to be so counterproducti counterproductive. Were better than that. We are House Minority chip Steve Scalise what do i make of President Trumps visit to kenosha the word from joe biden and Kamala Harris. Good morning good to be back with you your panel, it was really good the president went to kenosha, to stand with the people, who want law and order, who really are fed up with their democrat leaders not o protecting them not providing the kind of safety in their communities, they had interestingly that Joe Biden Kamala talking about divisiveness maybe forgot to watch their convention the Democratic Convention filled with nothing but divisiveness, hatred towards donald trump that is not america, irwas so proud of the Republican Convention focused on uplifting message with President Trump has done to fight for families fight for forgotten men and women of this country, to rebuild our middle class include everybody, in that growth and to get us through covid that we can rebuild that great economy back again, and this is a great example of the president showing leadership i was with him Saturday Lake he charles louisiana standing with people of lake charles devastated in path of hurricane laura committed to help rebuild committing to help people of wisconsin rebuild, that is what this president is be is a build other stands with people to protect their communities, to stand with Law Enforcement as we do that, and then to help rebuild communities democrat leaders are allowing to be devastated. There was a no mention of the the city violence urban violence at the Democratic National convention, then after the rnc let out you had senator rand paul confronted and threatened outside the white house,. Is this many others a double amputee a combat he veteran, and purple heart recipient elderly people targeted you were nearly killed by a Bernie Sanders supporter how does rhetoric about a president defieding nation all kumbaya until he was elected how does that he resonate. Not resonating i think where you are seeing joe biden out of basement to try to act as if he now wants to Say Something positive, about where our Law Enforcement offices are are he was on sidelines allowing hatred toward Law Enforcement to go forward look i think people get what is going on they know that donald trump stands up for you law and order he has been vocal against violence from beginning reached out to democratic governors offered assistance, said we will be happy to send in federal help, but the problem is these governors and mayors said they dont want federal help these are are supporters of joe biden, not happening, in these in republican run states frankly not happening in a lot of democrat run states only select being few states allowing this mob rule, and President Trump stands up against it joe biden was silent until he saw poll numbers slipping away from him, then trying to play tacit game on both sides you cant play both sides of this issue. Treasury secretary mnuchin saying ready to reach a deal with House Speaker nancy pelosi on new covid19 stimulus bill congressman how soon can we get any kind of you you a bipartisan agreement the anybody thrown out by meadows yesterday was maybe in half a trilliondollar range rather than three or two trillion. Dagen this is area where there has been a lot of you bipartisan support to help Small Businesses and families through this tough time, seems like every time that there seems to be an idea everybody could lessees around nancy pelosi those things on table like bailing out failed states, that about had multibilliondollar deficits prior to covid none are starters saying she knows arent going to happen trying to force mailin ballots taking away states ability to require picture id something that protects integral of the vote, lets make that flexible help families help Small Businesses. Steve congressman mailin balloting, that is beginning to get underway. What can be done especially he in swing states to ensure integrity here he we have unrealistic deadlines can justice do anything can the party have poll watchers equivalent for balance white house can be done to ensure integrity here. You know, i know a lot of us are concerned about integrity the vote you look at what the speaker was trying to do, literally forcing states, to mail ballots to people on rolls including people on rolls illegally every state will tell you theyve got tens of thousands minimum people on rolls willing whether moving around or dont follow rules registering you dont want those ballots to millions of ballots floating around would be ripe for voter fraud there is story after story of voter fraud occurs democrats want to act like it never happens they know it happens the more you open up laws and undermine states with good integrity laws every person augmenting to be able to vote once if somebody able to steal a vote taking away your vote nullifying your vote a critical issue, i think something we can do anything that can be done that isnt being done to ensure that integrity whether it is justice, supposed to protect Voting Rights and the like . Justice department has amount to make sure Voting Rights are protected as they should each state runs their own laws at state level people on both sides want to make sure that laws are followed properly but you also have states, that have changed their laws to make it easier things like same day he registration no picture id laws that make it ripe for voter fraud we have seen unfortunately examples, of how blatantly abused we are concerned about. I called New York County boarded of election before last president ial election to try to check on registration they mad magically loss at it fact that i live here in new york. The man answered the phone said were busy call back another time and hung up on me,. He largest city in the country, the people running the board the county board of elections, they dont have voice mail, congressman great thank you, sir. The expectation, for the friday jobs report would bring us back to 48 of the jobs that have been recovered, from the pandemic shutdown but not even half the jobs that were lost in february march april. Mitch roschelle jump . Is my question deals with the brickandmortar dinosaurs out there what becomes of them, because i was in michigan recently dropping my son off at college i drove by a mall two of floor anchors out of business what is nearterm longterm plan is there a way to harmonize brickandmortar, any way. Bricksandmortar retail first of all plenty of winners most in the in mall targeting costco walmart, monster winner in home depot, lowes, even tractor supplier Dollar General tons of winners, bricksandmortar retailing so many lowers malbased Player Department stores apparel two to three times retail Square Footage that we need some not even malls lot has to close, so what the pandemic has done accelerate that, as thank you know players have not had traffic they need so we are going to see a lot of stores simply go dark malls redeveloped some property great the malwent first housing retail those areas are fantastic more mixed use with are apartments, offices going to be open offices, places to get medical care things will happen in those spaces. Do you need a broad repricing of rents that would hurt commercial real estate compensates in order for he retailers at least some to exist, restaurants they cant make a go of it with rents where they are many of these urban areas. I think you are definitely seeing some pullback already. The you know all data shows that, and dont see more, there was a big gap between the high end locations the lower end, going to compress people paying monstrous amount coming down definitely contraction, that will be short term down the line you wont notice it real estate there is a limited amount plenty of uses for it so if not a mall today going to be Apartment Building Amusement Park Something Else tomorrow we have to look past pandemic in that regard nearterm enormous pressure commercial re long term redeployed. Walmart answer launching walmart plus calls less than prime offers three same day deliver from stores orders over 35 bucks, what do you make of this walmart giving a run for money, amazon. Look, amazon is monster leader only walmart huge leader bricks and mortar poorly grocery from my opinion amazon bought wrong grocer, a niche player high priced reputation didnt cover country fully continues to be real winner when grocery moved from instore pickup very good for them, to Home Delivery where again keep pushing, pushing, pushing groceries amazon is constantly looking for way to used grocery market has not been able to dent walmart yet defensive offensive murder on walmart it is a battle for the ages. Whole foods from my experimental experience my opinion, instore experience at whole foods is just awfully, actually gotten worse under amazons ownership in major cities thank you great to see you. My pleasure. Trip to hair salon backfiring footage by fox news. Com showing nancy pelosi getting her hair done not wearing a mask inside San Francisco salon despite rules ordering salons in that city stay closed. Salon owner slamming pelosi saying a slap in the face that pelosi can break rules the office saying in a statement speaker always wears mask complies with local covid requirements this business offered for the speaker to come in monday, told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business. The speaker complied with rules as presented to her by this establishment, steve, rules for thee, not for me. That is right gives new meaning to the word brainwashing in future should apply a hair drier do it quickly dyson very competitive buys 30 dollar ice cream 50,000 dollar refrigerators gets a dyson she and husband can do it easily, quickly, no, i just think underscores all these people dagen ep, by the way, often portray themselves as tribunes of the people champions of the people by golly do live high off the hog i should not say that i think hogs are better than some he politicians,. The chattering classes blue checked marked media some people on television talking about oh, there is no violence in these cities that it is overblown meantime their in if hamptons mansions, obstructing from studios far away, from where actual real people live mitch. No offense to you wherever you might be in your i live near real people, but the fact of the matter is i think it was 24 hours Speaker Pelosi on television lecturing, he electorate about use of being masks you see evidence she wasnt wearing one you had governor of new york, photographed without ab mask the mayor of chicago, also getting hair done i think it is these kinds of elements, of hypocrisy that will resonate with voters very frustrated right now about the things they cant do. So i think, some of the preaching is going to backfire quickly. Business owners have had to sit back abide by these rules and regulations, and watch their businesses dry up and collapse in on themselves. But okay for this one individual to go in but not okay for people to be responsible the Business Owner to wear a a methodical protective gear actually have their customers come in. The headlines back to you. Dagen thank you so much cheryl, growing unrest in america President Trump committing a Million Dollars to the kenosha Police Department yesterday, this during a tour of the city where he touted importance of Law Enforcement. And warning cities that he is ready to send he in federal focuses to restore order as weve seen more than three straight months nighttime rioting in portland the department of Homeland Security calling the city the epicenter of crime and chaos, as riots continue joining me Mccloskey Law Center attorney mark and Patty Mccloskey good to see you both, i just want to talk about the idea that with violence rising in this country and you are seeing that in many major cities you have a rise in shootings, a rise in murders but somehow with that in the backdrop defunding the police is the solution. You know, in st. Louis city of st. Louis is a small town st. Louis only has 300,000 people, split about 5050 between black and white but so far this year there have been 180 murders, are nobody seals to care about that we are 200 Police Officers down in st. Louis, and the concept of making us safer by reducing the Police Department is just is an insanity hard to get your mind around who can actually say that out loud expect people to believe it or think it makes seen ins patty what is your take. Dichotomy cant understand we had offer killed over the weekend, and people are against the police, hard to imagine in lifetime we would see people against police want to Defund Police in light of all this terror going on around us, that we never would have thought we had to deal with in this country, and, you know, the suburban areas see same things happening kenosha is a promise fulfilled because black lives matter antifa groups promised that is what they were going to do go out in suburbs try to touch each one make us feel their pain that is what kenosha is beginning of that, i mean has been happening but i believe one of the nicest rated one of the two nicest small towns in america this happens to them . Just a shock, that Something Like this could happen. Dagen i want you to talk about your the charges against you that a we have been talking about this he protesters broke into your community you brandished weapons to keep them off property both hit with one charge of unlawfully use of a weapon. Patently possible penalty up to four years in prison what is at the latest about this where do you think it goes from here mark . I think going to follow us a long time, we have First Court Appearance monday, sprigly turns out attorney despite our leapfroging our case ahead of hundreds if not thousands of felony cases we are not indicted just under charge right now court continued, to october 6 for the to begin the circuit attorney time to get us he indicted she just got reelected will be because won democrat primary so weve got years of this ahead of us with expense, and irritation and prospect of four years in prison lose law license right to vote to defend ourselves. Grand jury indicts you what what is the probability that they dont hand down an indictment . Have o that would be a wonderful thing but so rare, i am sure you know grand jury is typically do what with a prosecuting attorney wants onesided presentation. And you know our governor has pledged to pardon us if being convicted riders conviction he is up for election to a no guarantees in this world. I think your case hieltdz th highlighted the charge of brandishing a weapon vary people think Second Amendment laws vary from state to state many ways i think people, in other states, with more liberal gun laws looked at your case said wait a minute. They were standing in front of their home, how is that possibly a charge . Well, i think a political thing here, were not criminal lawyers my understanding was this is always a capital state so i dont think every an issue we have been told since beginning not going to be an issue, but such a political thing, that could charge us before we go what are you hearing from people in the community . Is anyone threatening you . Are you afraid of your life after, rnc speech we did get Credible Threats in police and fbi looking into it i got to tell you encouraging we are out the dinner waitress put in our bill a note that said i am reading i just wanted to say i saw you on tv waiting to serve you he ever since one hundred percent stand behind you trump 2020 exclamation point didnt want to say out loud most coworkers are very liberal. I think there is a real army of secret trump voters out there just being suppressed by social ridicule by coworkers by employers going to come forward really make difference in this election it is very encouraging. They made it out of copper, gold, silver, wampum. Soon people decided to put all that value into a piece of paper, then proceeded to wave goodbye to value, printing unlimited amounts of money as they passed the buck to the future. Thats why its time for Digital Currency and your investment in the grayscale funds. Go digital. Go grayscale. Death boseman shocking the world actor died after four year battle with colon cancer 43, his district shining spotlight on grossing risk of colon cancer in young men people have doubled the risk of colon cancer compared to those born 40 years earlier according to American Cancer Society lowering recommended screening age from 50 to 45, joining me clinic gastroenterologi gastroenterologist. What risk for boseman to get this in late 0s how would you catch it early if not screened until 45 or 50 . Thank you very much for having me you posed an excellent question. Right now, the National Screening guidelines from the United States prevent service task force encourage all men and women at average risk to begin screening around age 50 American Cancer Society made recommendation about two years ago. And it is not universally adopted by all insurance carriers or payers, the recommendation was based on computer simulations that show substantial life against from starting at 45, but we dont yet know whether or not those gains will be extended if we start screening patients at a younger age. Right now trying to waive awareness about symptoms of colon rectal cancer particularly in younger patients. And i will add that it is not just men at risk, there is a measurable difference in the rates slightly higher in men than women but not mens only disease. You talk about the symptoms but, also, what would put someone who is may be in 30s in a highrisk group . So typically we think of high risk conditions, as applying to people who have inflammatory disorders of the colon krohns, ulcercolitis strong history of colon cancers or patients that carry what has the community scratching its head starting to see cancer in young bhieshts dont carry traditional risk factors dont know why active intensive Investigation National research priority. My mother never smoked died of metastatic, lung cancer when we asked her oncologist what caused it, it was environmental, that was the answer, it wasnt even radon in the home there was never a smoker in the home either. That being said, with say Breast Cancer there are genetic tests women can do and men to find a gn gen oetic predisposition,. That answer is complicated, we are not yet encouraging adult men and women to go out and get genetic testing without prior cause, but we are, however, very much encouraging the patients that we see coming into us with young onset colon cancer to get genetic testing so we try to get clues not only why it happened how to better care for disease try to identify here family members, who maybe at risk to try to prevent formation of colon and other cancers that may be tied to a genetic abnormality they carry. Before we go you mentioned symptoms, that young people young men should look for can you tell us what those are some of them . Yeah i think, young men and women who really in prime of their careers, and child rearing lives put off problems of their own, as their taking care of the priorities of others. Unintentional weight loss anemia rectal bleeding sunday development of constipation or change in stool cool beer symptoms we refer to as alarm features demand fairly prompt diagnostic evaluation. I am due for colonoscopy i put off because of pandemic shutdown i promise, myself and family all viewers i am going to make an appointment today for that that is something. If i could, baby id how can i, when you wont take it from me you can go your own way go your own way your wireless. Your rules. Only with Xfinity Mobile. Dagen agent Trump Administration taking action to help struggling renters homeowners white house implementing a four month important moratorium on eviction could keep millions in homes but unclear how this measure will impact landlords, mich you first what do you make of it . Well just order of magnitude we dont have information on august rents yet but 32 americans missed some portion of rent or mortgage payments in july obviously, significant, and moratorium not forgiveness just deferral but muchneeded in the economy, one interesting note i know we are short on time president has been criticized for being pro real estate opener because of occupational background before he took office, the fact of the matter this is far from that, i think actually pro tenant pro homeowner we will see what happens congress is going to have to resolve this not something i dont think the executive branch can do. Dagen steve . Steve i think, you are also going to see new ways of doing leases from this has feedback done, short term i ti longer term especially for restaurants going to see leases done you get percentage of the revenue, because even before covid restaurants and place like new york were getting killed because of skyhigh rents, then you put the restaurant or small store out of business. Youve got empty space going to be hard to lease it so i think you are going to see more experimentation in leasing in the future eviction of moratorium, is a good thing short term but long term weve got to find different ways of doing things so when hard times come we dont end up killing the tenant, are, and hurting the landlord as well. New york good knocking out tenant killing tenant much real estate in manhattan Greenwich Village up and down 5th avenue wasteland before pandemic shut down thank you investors eyeing markets take a look at one hot stock on the move ahead of the opening will be more mornings with maria live on fox business right after this when your body is moving the music gets moving dagen 30 minutes away from opening bell.
