Jeni's new ice cream flavor just dropped and ... it's a little weird. Would you eat ice cream that tastes like an everything bagel?
The Ohio-based Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, which has a location in Houston's Heights neighborhood, has become a cult favorite for its delicious, creative flavors. But when the company announced its latest flavor is Everything Bagel, there were a few skeptics.
A Jeni's press release says the new frozen treat is "like a really great, well-seasoned bagel… that you can lick." It's made up of sweet cream cheese ice cream with buttery streusel, sesame, poppy seeds, onion and garlic. (If you're having flashbacks of Rachel Green on "Friends" making a trifle layering raspberry jam, custard and lady fingers with "beef sautéed with peas and onions," I feel you.)
