Healey pledges up to $700 m to replace Sagamore bridge, Bourne bridge

Governor Maura Healey’s pledge marks a major escalation in the state’s willingness to devote its own funding to the estimated $4 billion plan to replace the Sagamore and Bourne bridges, the 88-year-old arching structures that traverse the Cape Cod Canal.
