Heatwave death toll hits 12: Man in his 70s drowns and boy, 14, is missing in River Thames

The 70-year-old man was pulled from the water in Sandown on the Isle of Wight where crews battled to save his life but he was declared dead at the scene, bringing the death toll to 12.
