Once a luxury, online grocery delivery services turned into a way of life in 2020, whether you were quarantining or not. Walmart and HomeValet, a service that connects online retailers with temperature-controlled outdoor smart boxes, plan to capitalize on this boom.
A survey conducted by the supermarket news and trend researcher Inmar Intelligence found that nearly 80% of shoppers reported going online to buy their groceries last year, an increase of 39% over the shopping habits pre-COVID-19 pandemic.
