perch of online dominance for years to come. but are we growing too obsessed with the social networking giant? a new report says one in every 13 people on this planet is now an active user on the site. so how much is too much of a good thing? i'm joined now by natalie morris, senior editor for c-net.com. good morning to you. >> good morning. >> the first one, one in every 13 people on earth are active users. i mean, wow. 48% of 18 to 34-year-olds check facepbook as soon as they wake up. 71% of the total u.s. web audience is on facebook. 57% of people talk to people more online than in real life. >> isn't that crazy? >> do we need to back off? >> it seems like it. you know, i'm up in the middle of the night feeding my baby son. and i think to myself, well, maybe i'll just check facebook because i've got the mobile device. who cares? really. i think to myself, i need to dial it back a little. because i won't always have this time with my baby, butly always have facebook.
