The huge backlog of cases in US immigration courts is encouraging more migrants to enter the country knowing they can work legally without being deported while their cases are being processed. The approximately 650 immigration judges are managing more than 2.4 million cases, with 313,000 cases terminated last year but over 700,000 new cases submitted this year.
