Havana, May 29 (Prensa Latina) The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today evoked the life and struggles of union leader and communist militant Lázaro Peña (1911-1974), on the 110th anniversary of his birth .
In his Twitter profile, the Cuban president affirmed that this nation remembers one of his most beloved sons: they called him Captain of the Cuban working class and he was so until the last breath of his humble and hazardous life as a communist fighter, he pointed out.
