Secretary of state alex padilla says no way. So let me be clear, unofficial, unauthorized ballot drop boxes are not permitted by state law. A ballot collection bill that became law four years ago and they plan to take that case to court. State leaders say ballot drop boxes must be approved by both the county and state to make sure they are collected and counted and the attorney general Xavier Becerra is already threatening prosecution. If you plow through 8 00 and then clearing out today a lot of sunshine and its going to be nice at lunch time outside. Later today the high temperatures up to 91 in livermore as well as concord. San jose will reach 86 degrees. Well see low 80s in oakland today and some upper 70s in San Francisco. Our north bay high temperatures will reach up to the upper 80s. Lets check out one thing im really concerned about here going into the next couple of days, the high fire danger and that starts tomorrow morning early fl all of these a will be under the high fire danger for elevations above 1,000 feet where well have the highest wind gusts and low humidity and that will continue through friday, the east bay, the diablo range and these areas if they do start a fire, if we see a fire start it will spread quickly. Now is the time to prepare and have your emergency kit ready to go. Make sure you have your important papers all together so you can gather them quickly and make sure you have food and medication as well as knowing how to open the garage door in case you are under a psps.
