Developments about the bay area couple killed in a deadly head on crash in southern california. And their lasting political legacy. A surprise warning ahead of upcoming pride celebrations. The new threats now being monitored by the fbi. And back on the stand, Donald Trumps former socalled fixer returns for a second day of testimony. Were live in washington with a look at what to expect in the courtroom. This is today in the bay Tuesday Morning is here, and so is your team. Thanks for joining us. Im Marcus Washington and im laura garcia. Were going to check in with mike. Great team member in just a moment. But lets first check that forecast with meteorologist kari hall tracking what we can expect. Yeah it was a beautiful yesterday afternoon. And its going to be the same today. Were just going to repeat that and then bring it up a few degrees for the middle of the week. But right now were starting out again with some clouds and some fog in a few spots. And were going to see temperatures as you head out the door in the upper 50s in san jose, as we go throughout the morning, gradually warming things up as we get more sunshine and well see those highs back in the upper 70s. So this is matching yesterdays High Temperatures. Were not going to see much of a change today. San mateo looking at a high of 68 degrees 77 in novato. And in santa rosa and in San Francisco, 64 taking it into the day tomorrow instead of upper 70s, well see a few more low 80s. Ill be tracking that warm up for you coming up in a few minutes. And mike, you have something to report on vasco road. Yeah. Which raises a red flag and complicating things. Vasco road and marsh creek, which is right here. So those are key points. We start our commute heading out of brentwood. Theres discovery bay, no slowing shows up on the maps, but a roadside fire was reported a few minutes ago. I gave it a few minutes to develop. Theres no slowing, and i dont have any more specific locations than right in this area, so well watch that. But there may be some grass in the area as well, so thats my concern. Overall though, getting down to 580, its just fine. The rest of the bay moves very nicely. No slowing yet on the maps outside of the altamont pass. Back to you. Well, breaking news, the top u. S. Auto safety regulator is opening an investigation into waymo. The national Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into 22 incidents in which the companys cars were involved in collisions or may have violated traffic laws. 17 crashes are part of that investigation. The waymo vehicles hit stationary objects such as gates and parked vehicles. No injuries were reported. Now, the agency says waymos automated driving system was engaged in each incident. This comes as local leaders have been expressing concern over waymos expansion of testing its cars and peninsula cities. And new details are emerging about a bay area couple with deep political ties who died in a head on crash last friday night in southern california. Today in the bays bob redell is live in alameda county. And bob, what are friends saying about these two . They say theyre remarkable women. Correct. Good morning to you. Laura and marcus. Friends say that hope wood and peggy moore were political and social justice warriors who lived to make sure that those who did not have a seat at the table at least had a voice, especially here in alameda county, the two women who are married to each other were on their way home from a concert friday night in San Diego County when the driver of another car crossed over into their lane and hit the jeep that they were in, killing them both and also the driver and the passenger in the other vehicle. The couple ran their own Political Consulting firm called hope action, change. Moore ran the 2014 Election Campaign for former oakland mayor libby schaaf. She was the political director for Hillary Clintons president ial primary campaign here in california. She met her wife, hope, while both campaigned for barack obama back in 2008, and she was the one that that helped to win the golden state for him, she helped on the first Hillary Clinton campaign. Any campaign that really had to have, a, a top notch organizing strategy. They went to peggy moore. These were two almost twin flames that, couldnt bear to be apart in this life or in the other. And they really just had to be together when, when they left. And peggy left. Us congresswoman barbara lee of oakland recognized the couple on social media, writing, quote, together they organized, changed hearts and minds and helped to create a world where who you love doesnt limit your freedoms, both peggy and hope made an impact on our community, on our city, on our state, and on our nation that will be felt for generations to come. Reporting live here in alameda county, bob redell. Today in the bay. All right. Nice tribute to them there, bob. Thank you. Well, justin, speaker of the house mike johnson will join former President Donald Trump in court today. It comes as his longtime lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen is expected back on the stand once again this following his testimony that the former president directed him to pay adult film star stormy daniels. Cohen says it was all in an effort to cover up an alleged affair before the 2016 president ial election. Today in the bays brie jackson joins us live in washington this morning. And bryce cohens testimony certainly highly anticipated. Thats right. Good morning. Laura. So on the stand for the first time monday, Michael Cohen described the payment that he made to stormy daniels, telling the court that mr. Trump directed him to pay off the adult film star. Do you have any messages for donald trump . Former President Trumps former fixer Michael Cohen, taking the stand, testifying that he was acting on behalf of trump when he made hush money payments to stormy daniels, saying everything required mr. Trumps sign off. Cohen also claiming trump was furious in 2016 when he learned daniels was still trying to sell her story of an alleged sexual encounter with the former president , stating that he told mr. Trump he would pay daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement, opting to use money from a home equity line of credit, and that mr. Trumps response was along the lines of dont worry, youll get the money back. Trump is accused of falsifying Business Records to cover up a reimbursement to cohen. They have to believe Michael Cohen, the conspirators, donald trump, that they are a potentially breaking the law, that they intended. They falsified these documents with the intent to break another law in order to do so. That statement, this has to appear as legitimate. The former president political allies came to his defense. Im here for the simple reason to show support for a friend. I think this trial is absolutely ridiculous. Thats the most depressing thing ive ever been in. Mental anguish is trying to be pushed on the republican candidate for the president of the United States this year. Thats all this is. Trump denies the allegations. Theres no crime here. This is four weeks of keeping me from not campaigning. The former president s legal team has attacked cohens credibility and argues hes out for revenge in crossexamination, is expected to begin today. The defense is expected to attack Michael Cohen on, among other things, his past convictions. Laura, thatll be interesting to watch. Brie. Thanks for the very latest. Well check in with mike in that morning commute. But first lets get a look at that forecast for this tuesday. How are we looking carrie. It looks great again today. Although we are starting out with clouds and mild temperatures right now at 50 in san rafael, 53 in San Francisco and in oakland. And it is 57 in san jose as we go throughout the morning, heading to work in pleasant hill, were going to see a few clouds to start through about 8 00, but then clearing out sunshine into the rest of the day in your lunchtime temperature will be a comfortable 69 degrees, and well see some upper 70s for dublin 77 will be the High Temperature in fremont, as well as upper 70s for santa rosa and novato. All of these numbers are just slightly above what we typically see for midmay, but it will be warming up over the next few days. So well talk more about that in a few minutes. Mike, hows it looking at the gas pump . Gary, your numbers are slightly above mine are a little bit below what weve been seeing for the last few weeks. Even lower in the east bay today, a livermore foxy gasoline is on old first street. Its even lower than fliers in fremont. So now we have a better low there. Alameda countys 430 there. Best in san jose is 475. A quick serve on alum rock avenue and Solano County in the north bay has a low of 479. Thats in fairfield. Bonfire on walters road. Thank you for sharing those prices. We have a smooth flow of traffic on those roadways, with those Speed Sensors operating very nicely as we take a look at the roadways in those maps, we see that theres no major issues. As you get over in toward the east bay, just your little slowing out of the altamont. Its up in napa where we do have this crash listed. Its near 121 at Wooden Valley road is a short stretch of roadway blocked by a crash, a small roadway. So this is stopping traffic with a reroute there. Well track that through napa back to you. Youre just like, a little more emotion than you would almost be. I know brooches are back. Oh, okay. Well, i mean, if you want to put it on, but you need a coat on top of that to start out, and then youll be able to see it later today as temperatures warm up. Lets get a look at our highs for the afternoon. Its going to be in the upper 70s in san jose. Now this is back to where we were yesterday, 75, in martinez and will be in the mid 70s for napa in San Francisco. Were back to the mid 60s and looking at tomorrows forecast, just slightly warmer compared to today. And hayward look for a high of 75 there, 80 in concord, dublin and in fremont. The 7day forecast is up at the bottom of the screen. There will be some slight warming over the next few days. Were in the low 80s for thursday as well, and also seeing a few more low 80s in the east bay, but whats keeping our temperatures moderated is the coastal fog that were seeing returning, as well as some of the valley fog that will be developing by tomorrow morning, once again in parts of southern Santa Clara Valley into parts of the north bay. Were also going to see a kind of a steady weather pattern here. Now that were getting High Pressure building and the jet stream to the north of us is diving farther across the southwest. But as it moves closer to the bay area, it could cause some sierra thunderstorms to develop and a slight cool down for the bay area. Looking at concord will be in the upper 70s today and tomorrow, and then mid 70s as we approach the weekend into early next week. You can see these numbers dont change all that much over the next week. And so were looking at once again a nice settle weather pattern as we go into the week as well as the weekend looks good for us. And just a little bit cooler for saturday and sunday with upper 70s. San francisco will be in the upper 60s on thursday well bring it back about three degrees for the weekend. Mike you have a look now at the east bay. Yeah, and its a good look. Its a clear look as far as the drive goes for southbound past the coliseum and northbound over high street and toward the bay bridge. And no major slow spots. Just a little build now for westbound 37 out of vallejo. I do want to take you up to the north bay, where were looking over here along the coast, bodega bay, over to santa rosa. There may be some fog, nothing really bad, but it is there. Folks are used to it. Weve got more weather, of hawaiian and Pacific Islander heritage here at nbc bay area, and we are shining the light on some of the people who make our bay area so unique. A bakery operation hayward is turning out more than just baked goods. So the sugar bowl bakery turning out the American Dream for the five lee brothers. Bay areas joe rosado jr will take us inside that factory to hear more about this sweet story. Im a bay area just tradition there. Theyve got a lot of great sweet treats. 527 right now. Coming up next, a top stories that were following for you today, including working to protect firefighters. The key vote one bay area city is set to make after harmful chemicals were found inside their uniforms. Have you ever wondered why Santa Clara Valleys biggest reservoir is never full, even in the rain . Valley board wants to a vote on a fix for that, but it coul costd todays a day. Hundreds of thousands of bay area water customers may learn if they are facing higher bills. Were live this morning with todays key vote and what it may mean for your bottom line charging cables cut the disturbing trend targeting ev charging stations, leaving drivers feeling powerless. Also up in flames. New overnight details on the fire at a south bay buddhist temple, with word from the buildings owner about where it may have started. This is today in the bay a very good morning to you, and thanks so much for joining us. Im laura garcia and im Marcus Washington. Lets get a look at that forecast for you this morning. Meteorologist kari hall has been tracking what we can expect and if its anything like yesterday, ill take it. Okay well, i think youll take today. Its going to be a repeat of what we had yesterday. Were starting out clear here in walnut creek. But seeing some clouds and other spots, especially in the south bay, where weve seen some patches of fog developing as we take a look at what to expect in livermore today, going from 54 at 8 00 to our lunchtime temperature of 71 and sunny, its going to be a beautiful again today with upper 70s for highs. Hayward will see a high of 73 and 68. In san mateo in napa today, 75 in just a touch warmer for tomorrow as we reach closer to the peak of those temperatures. And mike, youre still tracking a crash in napa. Yeah, this is for folks. This is off of state route 121. Its between Wooden Valley road and monte cello. So if you know where those roadways are, then you need to worry about this crash and the closure right now of just those few lanes. It sounds like theyre getting ready to open one, but i dont know which direction will reopen. Theyre slowing north. 121 if youre not familiar with that area of napa, then dont worry about it. All the freeways are moving very smoothly. The bill gentle for highway 37, highway for the bay bridge is seeing a little more traffic. We should see those metering lights turn on any second. We should see some headlights any second. There we go. Golden gate bridge is open for business. There are some low clouds. Theres a weird thing going on with the light there, but theres no lightning. Well track that. And of course, carrie would let you know if anything like that was going on. Back to you. Most definitely. Thank you mike. Today well find out if hundreds of thousands of people in the south bay will have to pay more for their water today in the bays kris sanchez joining us live from san jose, breaking down those numbers for us. So chris, talk about this. So how much more are customers going to have to pay here. You know were at a point where people really dont want to pay much more for anything. Whether its a little more or a lot more. But valley water says that it needs this rate hike in order to fix its biggest reservoir in the water district, so thats what it looks like for them. Heres what it could look like for you. We are talking about a 12 increase for residents in the northern part of santa clara county. That would add about 9 a month to the bill. Those who live in the south county would see increases of 1 to just over 3 a month. Now, valley waters biggest project is the seismic retrofit of the anderson dam in morgan hill, a project that has ballooned in cost to 2. 3 billion. Labor and materials all those costs have skyrocketed in recent years, so of course we have to pay for those and we see those increases. But the reality is our board has to balance the idea of, hey, you know, what are the charges for water here in santa clara county, but also preparing for the future. We cant let these Infrastructure Projects be delayed anymore. The longer we wait, the more they end up costing and it ends up costing us more down the road. So really, this is the most Cost Effective way to get these projects done is to get them done. Now now, the federal government mandated that the anderson reservoir, which was built in 1950, be retrofit after studies found that the structure could fail in a major earthquake and cause widespread flooding and destruction across Santa Clara Valley. If youve driven past anderson reservoir, youve probably wondered why isnt it ever full . Even when we have so much rain coming in . And thats the reason why it cant go past a certain capacity. So the valley water board will take up this issue and likely vote this afternoon in san jose. Kris sanchez today in the bay. All right, chris, thank you. Well, the fire is finally out this morning at a buddhist temple in san joses alum rock neighborhood. Crews spent the night monitoring the hot spots temple located on foss avenue near 680 and alum rock. Neighbors shared video with us showing the flames that were shooting into the air. Investigators tell us there were four people inside at the time, but fortunately they all made it out safely. So the vast majority of this building is a large meeting area. Fortunately, there was no meetings at the time. The only people who were in the building were the four people who live in the building. They live in a in a small unit thats towards the rear of the building above a garage. Space crews managed to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes. The cause of that fire is under investigation. A man who says he owns a building says he thinks the fire started in the kitchen bay area thieves are targeting tesla and ev charging stations to steal the copper metal inside those cables over the weekend, someone cut cables from nine charging stations over in vallejo, causing thousands of dollars in damage. Now, inside those cables is a dense layer of copper thieves can sell for around 3 a pound, depending on just how many of those cables you steal. You can actually make a couple hundred bucks. Now ev car users, they say that that trend theyre seeing, theyre more and more. And that is an indicative indication of the tough times right here in the bay area. We actually spoke with ev driver, who did not want to be identified. And i think it reinforces the desperate times that a lot of people are under. And, you know, hopefully we can do something about it more ev drivers say that theyre actually charging their cars at home, but some of those thieves are also targeting Home Charging cables. They cost nearly 3,000 to replace. Hayward leaders discuss plans for changes at the ballot box. Council members tonight are holding a special hearing on the plan to move Council Seats to a district based system, rather than the current at large vote. The plan is a response to recent legal claim that the at large system dilutes the voting power of certain ethnic groups, especially asian americans. The change is expected to take effect in the 2026 election. Well, state judicial system leaders today debate three recent state appeal court appointments. Now here are the three judges recently appointed by governor gavin newsom. Only one judge, tara dassault, is would be would would actually preside in the bay area. Her hearing will be held at the state superior court in San Francisco. San francisco supervisors today hold a second reading on their recently approved ordinance to ban socalled forever chemicals in firefighters gear. As our Investigative Unit reports, studies have shown the gear firefighters wear is made with materials called pfas, proven to raise cancer risk. Theyre called forever chemicals because they dont easily break down once the skin absorbs it. Supervisors approved the new ban last week, and its the first of its kind in the United States. San francisco firefighters are already testing alternative pfa free fabrics they believe are just as effective. You can view the entire story under the Investigative Unit section. Youll find it on our home page. Also today in San Francisco, leaders. They will vote on closing a mile long stretch of the great highway extension to vehicles. Were talking about the part between slot and skyline boulevards. This is all part of a project aimed at protecting San Franciscos shore from rising sea levels. The city has considered closing the roadway since 2012. If given the green light, the change would go into effect in 2026. As stadium opponents in las vegas are striking out in their legal battle to let Voters Decide the critical funding question. Nevadas Supreme Court has struck down the push to add the measure to the fall ballot. The Group Schools over stadiums, wants voters to decide if nearly 400 million should be set aside for the new stadium on the vegas strip, teachers oppose using public money for the project and calls state lawmakers efforts unconstitutional, but judges called the language of the petition deficient and confusing. Despite the latest setback, opponents plan to try to add a similar measure to the 2026 ballot. Lets take a live look outside city by the bay, San Francisco. Look at that. You can make out the Transamerica Pyramid there, but you can see the fog hanging on overhead. Kerrys got a look at our forecast for today. That fog is going to be slow to clear throughout the morning and even into the early afternoon. But at least around the city, visibility is pretty good. And weve seen the fog moving around the north bay, visibility down to about two and a half miles in santa rosa, and may get a little bit worse as you move up around northern sonoma county. As we head over to castro valley, were cloudy and 53 right now. We are going to continue to see clouds and at times some fog, maybe even drizzling. But then as we go into late this morning, into the afternoon, it will be clearing out and temperatures quickly spike into the upper 70s. And then were back down for this evening. Were going to see a high of 77 in Mountain View today, and 79 in concord, also 79 in livermore, san jose and morgan hill. And tomorrow were going to see even slightly warmer temperatures for some of the east bay, as well as the south bay. A lot more 80s there on the map. And we reach the warmest of those temperatures on thursday with more widespread 80s, but a lot of 70 here. So not a major change as we go into the next few days, well talk about the weekend coming up and mike, now you have a look at the richmondsan rafael bridge. Yeah, right behind me. More traffic coming in. This is pretty standard flow westbound. That would be over toward the san rafael side. And thats the morning commute direction. Now eastbound we do have an arrow marking that. I put it there to remind folks that we are down a lane for the mornings, across there from 5 a. M. To about 1 p. M, one lane is blocked for some Maintenance Work or some work scheduled work on the bridge itself all week, so keep that in mind. So far, no disturbance for 580 and your typical westbound slowing. We do still have the crash up in the north beyond napa. State route 121 im tracking that. Meanwhile, were also warning folks about another game in the city. Were happy to have them at oracle park, but that means more traffic here and off the 280 extension, caltrain. Great destination just blocks away from oracle park. A smooth drive around the bay. Typical patterns for the slowing in san jose. A couple minor crashes on either side of the bay. Nothing major, but well keep tracking those. And a note also 9 a. M. This morning, the schedule for the start of one lane landscaping work going on southbound 17 should be cleared by 2 p. M. Again, both of these areas i told you about on the bridge, as well as highway 17, should be clear by the evening. Commute back to you. Thanks, mike. Prioritizing your Mental Health coming up on today in the bay, governor newsoms new push to accelerate state support systems, and one local expert sharing the direct links between Mental Health and maintaining a healthy heart. President biden with new tariffs. Former President Trump with a new fan in court. Plus i want to make them laugh, to make them sing, to make them feel that after theyve watched it, theyve been changed for good. Are fans of wicked . Cant do that simply by way. So the surest sign a major musical is getting closer to a hollywood premiere and a peek behind the curtain at the effort to bring that vision to li as youre heading to work, its going to be cloudy and temperatures in the low 50s. You know, our usual start, but we will see it clearing out and becoming mostly sunny and temperatures feeling nice and comfortable into the afternoon. Well check out all of our microclimates coming up and ten minutes into those metering lights. Activation we do have the back of visible here at the bay bridge. Kind of like yesterday. We saw a pretty quick build here yesterday. Hit hard in the beginning and then kind of eased up. So well track the volume coming into the bay bridge. Well show you how thats developing. Well theres another bombshell departure rocking San Franciscos union square. Shreve and Company Closing its Flagship Store after 172 years of business there. Its all according to the chronicle, the jeweler not providing any specifics on that closure. But the store first opened on montgomery street in 1852, later moving to post street after the great earthquake. Its been in its current post street location since 2015. The white house tells us the president will speak about jobs no later than seven. Our Time State Department says secretary of state Antony Blinken has met with ukrainian president zelenskyy in kyiv. Secretary blinken making a secret unscheduled trip to ukraine after his shuttle diplomacy in the middle east. More u. S. Weapons on their way. Zelensky desperately needs antiaircraft and antimissile Technology Like patriot batteries to protect civilians in kharkiv, a video that got its start on social media, now the subject of concern in all kinds of world capitals, showing people believed to be israelis tailing a tearing apart an aid truck carrying food and medicine intended for palestinian civilians. S. Will levy new tariffs on chinese steel and aluminum, as well as chinese cars. We talked a bit about this yesterday before the announcement. Remember chinese flag, because well put tariffs on chinese goods, but americans pay the tariffs. The idea is being good goods rather under tariff become too expensive. And americans dont buy them. Speaker of the house mike johnson says hell attend Donald Trumps hush money trial today. Trump, of course, accused of covering up payments to an adult film actress. Yesterday, trumps former lawyer Michael Cohen testified against him crossexamination expected today. Highly unusual for a sitting speaker of the house to attend a criminal trial in full view of the jury. Then again, its highly unusual. Never happened before that a former president has been accused of crimes. Yesterday, us senators jd vance right there, and tommy tuberville, right there, both possible picks for vice president. Watch cohen testify. Michael cohen is the prosecutor star witness. This guy is a convicted felon who admitted in his testimony that he secretly recorded his former employer that he only did it once, allegedly. And that this was supposed to help donald trump. Does any reasonable, sensible person believe anything that Michael Cohen says . I dont think that they should. And i actually think that his testimony is going to hurt with any reasonable juror. And hopefully we have a few of those. Well, heres the explanation. It is true. Prosecutors played a recording. Cohen made of a conversation with his boss, donald trump, about making a payoff to the National Enquirer. Why why would cohen do that . Why would he record that if he was on trumps side at the time . Cohen says its because the head of the National Enquirer didnt believe trump would actually pay and wanted proof. Trump does have that reputation, marcus, of not always paying. Wow. All right. A lot to follow there. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. All right. Well, new for you this morning. May is Mental Health awareness month. And today governor gavin newsom will visit san mateo to update his effort to transform californias Mental Health system. It comes as medical efforts find new links between head and the heart. A recent report by the American Heart Association found that social isolation and loneliness can lead to heart inflammation and heart disease. One cardiologist with El Camino Health says, in general, loneliness can trigger the brains symptomatic nerve system. Controlling our fight or flight response, and the sympathetic system leads to higher blood pressure. It leads to higher cholesterol, at least a higher blood sugar. All these factors, which we know are directly related to the development of heart disease. So simply its not just being lonely, but its all the mental aspects of being lonely. So yeah, may not affect everybody, but theres a much higher likelihood of a lonely individual or of an isolated individual to feel those, those mental stimulants which then lead to the development of cardiovascular disease. Now he also says that we all want to better manage our blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels. Now to do so, he recommends exercise, a balanced diet, no smoking and limit the alcohol, or just cutting it all out entirely. 550 for you this morning and more than two decades since the beloved musical wicked hit the stage, the countdown is on for that highly anticipated debut of the big screen. And ahead of the movies First Official trailer dropping today, were getting a look at the emotionally charged process to bring it all to life. I never thought in my lifetime that i would get to be a part of Something Like this. We want you to be our glinda the good. Thank you. I love her so much. Im gonna take such good care of her. Thank you so much. Oh, thats how i felt when i didnt get the part. The wicked movies Youtube Channel published this featurette, including complimentary commentary from director jon m chu and stars Cynthia Erivo and ariana grande. You saw her there. Very excited. It also features the moment that they all discovered they would play those iconic roles. As we showed you, the first of the two part wicked film hits theaters in november. Highly anticipated, it is being distributed by universal pictures, which is owned by comcast, which also owns this tv station, and us. Well very cool. It should be great. Yeah. And its nice because, you know, not everyone can go see the broadway play or even when its on tour. So this this way, its there for everyone. I kind of hope that ariana doesnt use that same voice the whole movie to cry. Voice i hope not looking forward to that. All right, well, looking forward to a beautiful day. Yeah, its going to be really nice. As we head into the afternoon. We are starting out cloudy and its even foggy in some spots as we take a live look in san rafael. Its in the upper 40s. Thats one of the cooler areas compared to the 50s that were seeing elsewhere. Even upper 50s for san jose. Cloudy morning as youre heading out as well, getting the kids out to the door for school, a drop off time this morning, its going to be in the low 50s and willow glen and well see it pick up time some mid 70s. So really its going to be a beautiful day. But we have to make our way towards that sunshine after a cloudy morning. Heres a look at our highs that well see today in petaluma 76 degrees and 79 in san jose brentwood today headed for 80 degrees. So theres not a big range in temperatures except for the coastline. Thats going to stay cool with the clouds and the fog thats going to linger throughout the day. So in spots like Half Moon Bay, expected to only be in the low 60s. And then as you make your way inland, its in the upper 70s and low 80s as we get more sunshine. And i do think the fog and the low clouds will be back tomorrow. Were in this weather pattern with the jet stream, the flow of those upper level winds is still well to the north of us, and as this low develops to our south, going toward the end of the weekend into early next week, thats going to kind of shift our wind direction, our wind flow, and give us some slightly cooler temperatures. But it only cools down slightly. So were going in morgan hill from highs up to 80 degrees for today and tomorrow to seeing highs in the mid 70s for the weekend and then upper 60s and low 70s for the start of next week, and not a chance of rain here for quite a while. Were looking good here as we continue with the cloudy morning and sunny afternoons, well see that extending into at least next monday. And in San Francisco expect some mid 60s all throughout the forecast. And mike, youre saying that the bay bridge commute is getting more complicated. Yeah, i mean we have more folks to the backup is building and they may slow down those metering lights because ive heard about a crash while chp told us about a crash over on the San Francisco side. No injuries reported, i dont think. And this crash, though, sounds like they are having trouble moving the vehicle right around fifth. So right around one of your first exits into San Francisco and there is a build up heading away from that Treasure Island toward the city. So that could be an issue. The rest of the morning commute moves smoothly, but there is a crash near the dublin interchange. Have got my eyes on this tanker truck thats involved there. Back to you. All right. Thanks mike. Well, happening now. A Mountain View boy is safe. Eight year old aiden ortiz was reunited with his family after going missing last night.
