And then on friday that is when the late justice will become the first woman in the history of this country to lie in state in the u. S. Capitol Justice Ginsburg died on friday at the age of 87 from pancreatic cancer she served on the high court for 27 years stay with kron 4 as we continue to cover the Memorial Services for Justice Ginsburg. And once the services for Justice Ginsburg are over on friday President Trump isnt expected to announce his nomination to fill the vacancy on the following saturday republicans say theyre tallying up the votes to confirm the nominee as soon as possible. Theyre actually rallying protesting outside the hospital fighting for a better contract more sick leave Better Health insurance and now theyre going to be back at it again in by caregivers we mean. Nurses nursing assistants respiratory therapists and medical technicians all that will be rallying today outside of santa rosa Memorial Hospital. They say that theres been a recent coronavirus outbreak thats infected 26 hospital workers and as many as 4 patients caregivers represented by the National Union of healthcare workers in the santa rosa memorials, staff nurses association, theyre calling upon the hospital to ramp up coronavirus testing and strengthen safety protocols to avoid another outbreak from happening if theyre going as far as saying a Medical Transport or said she was exposed to the coronavirus but then was denied a coronavirus test by the hospitals so thats pretty serious so theyre going to be out here rallying making their voice heard hopefully they want real change to occur all they want is more testing and more safety protocols being put in place while they work to treat coronavirus patients will be out here live to provide you updates all morning long and hopefully we can get full side this morning in continue to cover it for now reporting live in Sonoma County Sarah Stinson kron 4 news. The shooting happened last november and fairground drivein delay how according to the lawsuit eric reason had just finished, putting gas in his car and he was driving towards the exit when an offduty Richmond Police officer drove in front of. Reasons car and into an open parking space and thats when they got into an argument and ended in the deadly shooting Sergeant Virgil thomas who fired that shot passed away from covid weeks ago he had nearly 30 years of experience on the job. Lawyers say despite his death that does not clear the Police Departments responsibility in this shooting. They dont get to just should a person who is causing its threat to you or anyone doesnt justify person. Effectively executing a person from a great distance father screaming screaming for help.
