For protesters who block highways and freeways as we have seen happen so many times now recently in the bay area. This was most recent protests have blocked the Golden Gate Bridge for hours. And we also saw a blockage of 80 in oakland for hours recently. California has seen more and more of these protests happening in recent months because of the war between israel and hamas under current state law. These protesters face fines of 100 to 500. But this bill, would try to deter this by adding and increasing the fines up to 1000 depending on past convictions. Because we see that these laws on the books are are not enough, right . Theres a good time to turn to whats happening now. We believe in doubling that would give them our tools in their tool box to go those that are continually putting others lives at risk. Keeping parents from dropping off their childrens school. Things like that. The california Highway Patrol is in favor of this. Lets take a look at sfo because air travel could change big time. Become much more passenger friendly. And yeah, weve got a few tweaks coming your way. One would get rid of hidden fees. A lot of people they did not know that you are entitled to a refund, but you have to fight for it. Now you will get a refund. No more vouchers. Those vouchers, the airlines get out actually end of saving them money. Now, if your flight, how do you qualify for a refund . If your flight . Its more than 3 hours delayed domestically or 6 hours internationally. And of course, if its canceled outright, you get a refund. So 3, 6, hours, those of the windows that you are looking at, you dont even have to call the airlines. They know that they relate and they will issue you a refund. This is biggest change as far as passenger rights when it comes to transportation, airline transportation. In u. S. And those junk fees i have been hooked into it. Totally when i saw going to see some prices 100 to new york city from San Francisco. And then you go through the process and all of a sudden you realize its a lot more. The new laws also say the airlines have to tell you the out the door price way cost for the baggage weight cause for the seat. Total price. So you could decide right then and there if you want to book a flight, good news. Bad news. James doria. The good news is we have new laws right . The bad news is if your Summer Travel or it will not protect because those new laws, as far as the refunds kick in 6 months from now.
