This morning bart will be having employees out here answering questions, helping people buy those clipper cards as they work towards phasing out those paper tickets. These cards are reusable, reloadable and allow you to move through the fair gaith gates faster. They are accepted by transit agencies in the region. Thats why they want to move towards a clipper only fare Payment System and helping the environment. They tonight have to use paper tickets that they have to recycle or tossed in the trash. They started phasing out the tickets at the 19th street station.
