A Police Officer rushed to the scene after getting reports of a man pointing a gun at people. He was waiting at the time the officer arrived. The Police Officer fired 3 shots at the 24yearold, but he missed. It turns out he was holding an umbrella and not a gun. Based on how it was being pointed at vehicles in the way the fact he had requote the umbrella as if it was a rifle. He was arrested and is now facing charges of making criminal threats, battery, and brandishing an imitation firearm. The officer who fired his weapon is on paid administrative leave. And investigation created by the contracting state licensing board back in october. During that time investigators posed as homeowners for a home in santa rosas coffee break seeking bids for work on the home. The area is still rebuilding after the 2017 fire. State Officials Say one doesnt unlicensed contractors provided bids. The lowest bid for painting was 3000. The highest was 20,000. That was for landscaping. In california it is illegal for them to perform work on a project that is valued at 500 or more in combined labor and material cost.
