Good reasons to leave GOP
I was enjoying Bill Cotterrell’s take on Charlie Crist being a likely opponent for Ron DeSantis, until he got to the “flip flop” phrase regarding Crist’s change in political parties.
As a former Republican, Crist had many good reasons for choosing to leave. When his supposed Republican colleagues basically crucified him for giving Barack Obama a hug when the president visited Florida, that was one.
When the Republicans got busy destroying Florida’s natural environment to serve the wishes of corporations and developers, that was another reason for Crist, a native Floridian who has a fondness for our flora and fauna.
