Creative youngsters in the tristate area are invited to put pen to paper (or finger to key) and compete in the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum’s (LMMM) eighth annual Young Writers Competition.
For this year’s competition the LMMM is asking middle school students in grades six through eight to write a story based on the theme “A Scientist Visits the Mansion,” that explores a fictional event that takes place at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion between 1868 and 1938.
