TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Stakes will be high this weekend at JoAnne Graf Field as the third-ranked Florida State softball team (44-8, 19-2) will host Louisville (35-14, 15-4) with the ACC Regular Season Championship on the line. The teams will play on Friday at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra with Saturday's (2 p.m.) and Sunday's (Noon) games being aired on the ACC Network. Sunday will also be Senior Day as the Seminoles will honor six seniors: Ali DuBois, Bethaney Keen, Mack Leonard, Kaia LoPreste, Josie Muffley and Kathryn Sandercock. The senior day ceremony will begin at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday. The Seminoles are in control of the ACC standings and need just one win this weekend to clinch their 14th ACC Regular Season Championships. The Seminoles are coming off another ranked win on the road as they took down No. 17 Florida by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday night. It was the Seminoles' ninth-straight win and was their fifth-straight win against the Gators. The Noles have now won 23 out of their past 25 games and improved to 14-6 against ranked opponents with the win over Florida. Series History Florida State leads the all-time series 16-7-1. The teams last played in 2021 where the Seminoles took two out of the three before the two teams tied. Louisville will be making its first trip to Tallahassee since 2018. The Seminoles have not lost to Louisville in Tallahassee since 2016. Looking for the Title The Seminoles are looking for their 14th ACC Regular Season Championship this weekend against Louisville. The Seminoles need just one win to win their first ACC Regular Season Championship since 2019. Head Coach Lonni Alameda has led the Seminoles to seven ACC Regular Season Championships. Senior Day The Seminoles will honor six seniors on Sunday: Ali DuBois, Mack Leonard, Kaia LoPreste, Bethaney Keen, Josie Muffley and Kathryn Sandercock. This group of six seniors has combined to play 653 games for the Garnet and Gold. Graduation Day Seven Seminoles will earn their degree this weekend from Florida State University. Ali DuBois (Sport Management), Devyn Flaherty (Sport Management), Bethaney Keen (MBA), Kaia LoPreste (Interdisciplinary Social Sciences), Kaley Mudge (Exercise Physiology), Josie Muffley (Psychology) and Emma Wilson (Sport Management) will all earn a degree this weekend.
