The recently discovered historic foundations of the circa-1875 chapel of St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, now the second-oldest black church in San Antonio, is seen May 21, 2020, near the intersection of West Houston and Cameron Streets in downtown San Antonio. The foundation was discovered in February 2020, while crews were excavating for the second segment of the San Pedro Creek Culture Park.
