SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Three South Plainfield High School seniors recently teamed up to make a difference and promote positivity, while completing a class assignment and raising funds for a New Jersey-based non-profit.
For their senior project, Caitlin McConville, Johnny Padovano, and Marissa Tamburro – all members of the Class of 2021 – launched a 'positive affirmation' initiative to benefit the Springfield-based Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ). Through their efforts creating and selling necklaces, bracelets, and keychains made of washers engraved with uplifting messages, the trio raised over $1,000.
