The declaration that we have signed together with mr. President of course. We are talking about longterm processes. Im sure you are going to see how this is going to be filled with content. You will see complete facts that will appear on the map and also in agreements and in purchases that are going to be realized. Thank you very much. John decker of fox, please. Thank you, mr. President , two questions for you one on judge kavanaugh and one on trade. On judge kavanaugh yesterday you said we want to go through a full process. You said we want to make sure everything is perfect. Everything is just right. To that end, what would be the problem with the fbi reopening their Background Investigation into judge kavanaugh . Would you support such a thing . It wouldnt bother me other than the fbi, john, said that they really dont do that. Thats not what they do now they have supposedly six background checks over the years as judge kavanaugh has gone beautifully up a ladder. He is an incredible individual. Great judge. Impeccable history in every way. In every way. I feel so badly for him that he is going through this to be honest with you. I feel so badly for him. This is not a man that deserves this. This should have been brought to the fore. Should have been brought up long ago. Thats what you have hearings for. You dont wait until the hearing is over and then all of a sudden bring it up. When neither feinstein sat with judge kavanaugh for a long period of time, a long, long meeting she had this letter. Why didnt she bring it up . Why didnt she bring it up then . Why didnt the democrats bring it up then . Because they obstruct and because they resist. Thats the name of their campaign against me. They just resist and they just obstruct. And, frankly, i think they are lousy on policy and in many ways they are lousiy lousy politicians but they are very good on obstruction. Its a shame because this is a great gentleman. With all of that i feel that the republicans and i can speak for myself, we should go through a process. Because there shouldnt even be a little doubt. There shouldnt be a doubt. Again, they knew what they were doing. They should have done this a long time ago, three months ago. Not now. But they did it now so i dont want to play into their hands. Hopefully, the woman will come forward and state his case. He will state his case. Before representatives of the United States senate. And then they will vote. They will look at his career they will look at what she had though say from 36 years ago and we will see what happens but i just think he is at a level that we rarely see, not only in government, anywhere in life. And honestly, i feel terribly for him, for his wife, who is an incredible lovely woman, and for his beautiful young daughters. I feel terribly for them. On trade, mr. President , you announced new trade tariffs against china, trade tariffs are very important part of your economic and trade policy. In your first year in office, the u. S. Trade deficit increased by 12 and last month we saw the trade deficit increase to 72 billion. My question to is you your trade tariff policy working. Where would you start it . We didnt do anything with china because we wanted the benefit of china with north korea. They have been helpful. I hope they are still helpful there is a question about that. It got to a point where the numbers were too big. This should have been done for the last 20 years. If you look at the wto the world trade organization. Thats when china happened economically that was like a rocket ship. They took advantage of the rules of the wto. And whoever was standing at this podium in this incredible white house in the oval office they have you had have done something about this long ago, over the last number of years, john has taken out of this country 500 billion and more. A year. 500 billion that would go a long way for poland. That would rebuild your country. Thats what china did they rebuilt their country with tremendous amounts of money pouring out of the United States. I have changed that around. And if you look at whats going on our rocket is going up like a rocket ship. I dont want their market to go down think market is down 32 in three months because we cant let them do any more what they have done. And i watch trade deficits because to me deficits are very important. They are not everything and they are not exact. Sometimes can you have a deficit and thats not such a bad thing. But when you have 37 375 billion in trade deficits and then many billions of dollars in other liabilities of all different types every to do something about it. We are you see th the piggy bane world. We have been ripped off by china. We have been ripped off by, excuse me, mr. President , the European Union of which you are a part of. [laughter] we have been ripped off by everybody. And i want to protect the american worker, the american farmer, the ranchers the companies and we are not being ripped off you will see in a little while. We have come to a conclusion with mexico. It was a very unsided deal. Now its a good deal for both parties. Very happy about it. The new president had conversation and it was terrific. I think were going to have a very good relationship. Well see. Well see. We want help on the border because we have the worst immigration laws in the history of mankind or woman kind we have horrible, horrible immigration laws so we want help we have come to a conclusion with mexico, canada has taken advantage of our country for a long time. We love canada. We love it. We love the people of canada. But, they are in a position thats not a good position for canada. They cannot continue to charge us 300 percent tariff on dairy products. And thats what they are doing. So this is a process. It takes a little time. The European Union wouldnt talk to us. They wouldnt talk to president obama. They wouldnt even talk to them. And then i said thats okay. You dont have to talk to me. Jeanclaude is a tough man. Is he a very good man. I like him but he is tough. Is he nasty. [laughter] the kind of guy i want negotiating for me. But sea tough, tough cookie i said to him we have to renegotiate the deal. He said, but, mr. President , we are very happy with the deal. We dont want to negotiate. I said you may be happy with the deal, but im not happy with the deal. And he didnt want to renegotiate. And after three times he still didnt want to renegotiate. I said thats okay. We dont have to renegotiate any longer. We are going to put a tariff on all of the millions of cars you send into the United States. And honestly he was in my office so quickly from europe that i didnt know they had airplanes that flew that fast. I said where did you find this plane . [laughter] and we have the semblance of a deal. Because its to a large extent economically all about cars. Cars is a very big factor. And they send millions of bmws and mercedes into our country. So, we are working on trade, very hard. Very important to me it has been for 30 years. I have been saying for 30 years. Started with japan. I talked about japan. I was right. I talked about china. I was right. Its what i do. And i like doing it. But i like doing it for the people. Because our country has been abused and taken advantage of by virtually every country that it does business with. And were just not letting that happen anymore. And that includes what i said previously about the military. Please. President duda, welcome back to the u. S. As it relates to u. S. Eu relations as the president mentioned you are a proud poland is a proud member of the European Union. How would you describe us, eu relations right now. Did you talk about improving that relationship . Did you carry a special message to the president from mr. Juncker . Mr. Juncker . [translator] i would be very happy if it was poland who would disrupt the trade glens balance of the United States. I have would be happy if i was the United States. My understanding as far as politics is concerned and caring for the matters of your country similar President Trump. President trump is saying America First and im saying poland first. And we understand each other very well. Its hard for me to be surprised for the fact that mr. President being very experienced man, a man of success as far as business is concerned knows thousand calculate. Nobody puts that in question either in the u. S. Or other place. He takes care of the United States. It lies in the interest of the country to have a balanced trade exchange and this is something that you have to take care of. And, of course, there is clash of interest. However, objectively looking, it is hard not to understand it. So there is always competition of interest. There is competition interest. I represent polish interest whereas President Trump represent americas interest. The whole thing as follows on important matters you have to strike an agreement to make sure that both countries win and lose as little as possible. And then we have an understanding and agreement. And then we can say that we are cooperating with each other on equal level. And i believe this is the kind of cooperation that mr. President would like to have with the European Union and it will be hard to be surprised with that. Im listening calmly to that and i would like poland to be such a country, such an economic super power that it would be very important partner to the United States. I said jokingly in the beginning that i wish it was poland which disturbed the trade balance of the United States and exports of the United States but i do believe our cooperation has been develop well on partners. The trade deal with south korea has been fully negotiated and ready for signature. We may sign it at the United Nations or shortly thereafter. That was a terrible deal for the United States. Now its a fair deal. Thats been fully renege yalted in addition to mexico and some of the others that are very close. Thank you very much, everybody. We appreciate it thank you. Thank you. [reporters shouting questions] shepard the president wrapping up the joint News Conference at the white house with his counterpart from poland on a very busy news afternoon. President trump says he feels bad that judge kavanaugh, what he is going through during a News Conference with the president of poland. And, again, defended his Supreme Court pick. While judge Brett Kavanaugh has spent hours at the white house over the last two days, the president president se has not spoken with him. Judge kavanaughs nomination in limbo over Sexual Assault allegation over an incident that allegedly happened while he was in high school. Senate jewish Area Committee chairman republican Chuck Grassley from iowa says he is delaying the scheduled thursday vote until hear from the judge and curfew. The judge says judge kavanaugh is ready to testify. Judge kavanaugh is very anxious to do it a delay is acceptable. We want to get to the bottom of everything. We want everybody to be able to speak up and speak out. Shepard Christine Blasey ford claims that kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when she was 15 years old and the now Supreme Court nominee was 17. She says kavanaugh was drunk. Pinned her to a bed and held her mouth as she tried to scream and groped her before she was able to escape. She told the Washington Post newspaper that had he not been stumbling drunk as she put it, she feared he would have inadvertently killed her. Judge kavanaugh calls the accusation completely false the 51yearold professor from california has not personally said whether she will testify on monday but her attorney said yesterday she is willing to talk to lawmakers democrats on the Judiciary Committee say they want the fbi and the white house to look into this accusation and provide a background report before the hearing. But, first, this extraordinary public show down comes as liberals and conservatives fight for power over the highest court in the land. And just weeks before the midterm elections where control of congress is at stake we have team fox coverage this hour beginning with the chief White House Correspondent john roberts who was in the briefing and joins us from the Briefing Room now. John . Shep, good evening to you from the east room of the white house. Judge kavanaugh has been here all day today as he was yesterday meeting with the confirmation team, trying to find a way forward through all of this. As the Senate Continues to discuss what they plan to do. Right now senator Charles Grassley the chairman of the Judiciary Committee saying he plans on having a hearing on monday, to which both ms. Ford and judge kavanaugh have invited. Reached out several times to ms. Ford and her representatives and have not heard back yet. So we do not know if this hearing is going to happen or if its not going to happen. President trump asked about this a couple of times today. Earlier nut oval office with president duda of poland and again here at this press conference. The president saying that there is a process that he wants to see go through but the same time really scolding democrats for sitting on all of this information for weeks and only dropping it after the hearings have been completed and a confirmation vote was looming. Listen to what the president said. Frankly a terrible thing that this information wasnt given to us a long time ago. Months ago when they got it. They could have done that instead of waiting until everything was finished and then all of a sudden spring it but thats what the democrats do. Thats what they do. Its obstruction. Its resist. We feel we want to go through this process and we want to give everybody is a chance to say what they have to say. Now, the question still has not been fully answered why senator dianne feinstein, the cochairwoman of the senate Judiciary Committee sat on this information for as long as she did. Started to leak out and thats when she made it public. But we still dont have a good answer as to why she sat on it for this long and why, as the president pointed out in a lengthy interview that she had oneonone with judge kavanaugh she didnt bring up the information at that point. Democrats are suggesting that before either one of these people get either judge kavanaugh or ms. Ford get before the senate Judiciary Committee to tell their stories, there needs to be a thorough investigation conducted by the fbi. That request would likely have to come from the white house. The president a short time ago indicating its not likely a request he would make. Listen here. Other than the fbi, jon, said they really dont do that. Thats not what they do. Now, they have done supposedly six background checks over the years as judge kavanaugh has gone beautifully up a ladder. He is an incredible individual, great intellect. Great judge. Impeccable history in every way. One other point to make here, shep, a source both my colleague and Doug Mckelway and i spoke with earlier today said that a, he has been joined by judge kavanaugh that he does not know ms. Ford and, b, he believes that in the next few days, other people will be coming forward to fill in some of the gaps around the claim that ms. Ford is making. Well see, shep . Shepard john, anita hill accused Justice Clarence thomas of Sexual Assault. She wrote a oped today. She advocates for selecting a neutral investigative body with experience in Sexual Misconduct cases that the could investigate the incident in question and present its finding to the committee. Is there an appetite for such a nonpolitical process. If im not mistaken i think that the charges she was levels was sexual harassment. Not Sexual Assault. Ms. Hill makes some salient points there one of the prime points that she makes is dont rush this process. Thats what people are saying. Clearly is ladder is going through here. Apologies. Clearly a rush to try to get judge kavanaugh seated before the Supreme Court begins its 20182019 term which is at the beginning of october. So, there is some pressure to try to get a vote. Senator grassley said he doesnt know when there could be a confirmation vote. There is a threeday rule that after the last hearing they have to wait three days before a vote. But as to whether or not they would wait beyond that, he doesnt even know, shep. Says he is playing it day by day. One of the other points that ms. Hill made in that oped is that the weight of the ache sayings being leveled by ms. Ford have to be given equal weight of idea of confirming somebody to the Supreme Court of the land. You cant say well its a Supreme Court nomination and thats more important than the allegation. They both have to be given equal weight. Shepard that oped is in the New York Times today. More ahead on the kavanaugh controversy. We will go to capitol hill where the fate of the President Trumps Supreme Court pick will ultimately be decided. But, under what process and under what time limits . Thats coming up from the fox news deck on this tuesday afternoon. Senate is defending the Supreme Court nominee today. The Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell says the push to confirm judge kavanaugh will modify forward there is no doubt democrats want a delay. They said as much even prior to these recent accusations. Minority leader Chuck Schumer says he believes kavanaughs accuser is telling the truth. He is calling for lawmakers to postpone the confirmation vote. President trump nominating kavanaugh 7 71 days ago. President obamas pick for the same position for the nomination 293 days before that nomination was dropped. Some breaking news now. Senator cornyn speaking on this matter on the hill. Lets listen. Have them part of the hearing. We dont want this to be a threering circus. We want this to be an orderly and dignified presentation. We want to get the information and we will through the bipartisan investigator function of the committee. Not every witness or nomination appears in an open hearing. Here, of course, the reason we are doing this is extraordinary because we werent alerted as to the accusers identity until after the hearing. So this is mainly an opportunity to accommodate her and we look forward to giving her a chance to tell her story. Do you think her allegations are credible . Does she sound credible to you, sir . I dont know how you judge that until have you the hearing. Do republicans have a plan b . [[inaudible] question] i think we need to hear from her and from the judge. And that should be it. Do republicans have a plan b, sir . This is plan a. Senator said we need to hear from her, ms. Ford and from judge kavanaugh and the words to the effect of that should be it. The reason for this question from our senior capitol hill producer chad pergram is this the accusation is there was a third person in the room. A fairly colorful character by all accounts who has written a number of pieces on life in the boarding school that they attended or the prep school that they attended together back in the day there are yearbook notations. Mike emanuel is up on capitol hill. Chief congressional correspondent. Seems to be the question of the day from democrats and from those on the left there were three people in the room, why would not hear from all three people in the room. Thats correct. Calling for expanding the hearing whenever it is held to include perhaps eyewitnesses like the gentleman you mentioned who was allegedly in the room, perhaps other people who may have attended a party if, indeed, there was a party. There is a loft questions about that. Also, outside experts who might have some perspective on somebody coming forward with charges more than 30 years after the allegation, after the alleged incident happened. Bottom line, democrats are saying a hearing monday is too soon. This proceeding is more like something out of russia than the United States of america. It is unworthy of the United States senate. There is no way that we should have this hearing without having a full, fair investigation thats a reference to the democrats wanting the fbi to fully investigate this allegation. A female senator on the committee vented her frustration to reporters a short time ago. I just want to say to the men of this country just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change. Okay, you can see im a little upset by. This. So emotions running high after these latest allegations about judge kavanaugh, shep. Shepard thats from democrats. What are you hearing from republicans now, mike . With a 5149 majority. They are saying bottom line is they have very little wriggle room. Most of us were inclined to, on the republican side to support kavanaugh and thats where i was. I had my questions answered either in the hearing or with afterwards. But this is important. And if these allegations are proven to be true or people believe that they are, then that changes the equation, certainly. Republican senators anxious to hear from both judge kavanaugh and dr. Ford and a female republican senator offered an alternative in terms of the approach to the next hearing. It might be effective to have the two attorneys who are representing judge kavanaugh and professor ford do the questioning for the first round. And then go to the committee for questions. Republican leaders say they are open to having dr. Ford testify in public or private, whatever her preference. Right now they are just waiting on rsvp, shep . Shepard mike emanuel on the hill. Real clear politics. Good to see you, shep. Shepard i want to get to this matter of the fbi. Democrats are pushing for a thorough investigation of that incident which presumably would mean going back, trying to find people who might have remembered something from that time more than 30 years ago, getting together the facts they can. Make a report to the congress. The congress has that report before they begin the questioning. Doesnt sound that much of an appetite from the majority. No. Basically Republican Leaders are saying that the fbi probe into this or whatever the initial review was following the allegation that they have closed their investigation and that they are done and as we heard from President Trump today the fbi didnt do this because they didnt want to do this. Shepard he said thats what they do. He said they didnt want to do it. Shepard he had also didnt want to declassify a bunch of documents that they didnt want to declassify. So if he told them to do it they would do it . True. This is a very complicated area where there is no standard for assessing. This. Shepard no. There is no similar case there is no answer from Law Enforcement about whether the issue is closed unless dr. Ford were to present a witness between now and monday its hard to see anything changes and we dont know who to believe, it makes the politics incredibly challenging for both parties. Shepard she sent the letter to a local politician out in california. That politician, as i understand the chain of this, goes to dianne feinstein. Dianne feinstein eventually brings it to the attention of others. But, since then, she has spoken out through her attorney but the Committee Members say that they have reached out and they have not heard back from her about whether she will attend. What do you make of that, if anything . I think thats very strange, actually. Her lawyer was on television yesterday morning offering dr. Ford up as someone who had been outed by the press and didnt intend to come forward but now is willing to give testimony on capitol hill to the senators about this. The fact that they are quiet and not responding to the invitation late tuesday i think is very concerning. Politico is reporting now that kavanaugh allies have said that they have been told that the lawyer for dr. Ford has been asking for some stipulations or limitations for her testimony and thats not being warmly received by the Republican Leadership or the Judiciary Committee members on the republican side right now. So, there is actually conjecture about whether or not people believe that the hearing will ultimately even happen. Shepard and then there is the matter of this other person allegedly in the room, dr. Ford says that professor ford says that there was another man in there and we know who that person is. And it doesnt sound like at least to hear it from john cornyn there it doesnt sound like they are interested in hearing from the third person alleged to have been in the room. Correct. Democrats are talking about how this is a joke of a process. I think that if dr. Ford refuses to come, they are are going to say because mr. Judge wasnt going to be called, it wasnt going to be fair. And thats why, i think, there is a good chance this never happens. Shepard if this never happens, then what . I think judge kavanaugh can get confirmed. I mean, a lot could be revealed, shep, between now and a vote, but it is not impossible that he gets that he gets to the high court. Shepard jeff flake said no from committee but i guess they could pass him and go to the floor. Look, if dr. Ford is not willing to come and testify, i truly belief that rebounds to the benefit of judge kavanaugh and is he likely to make it through then. Shepard is there still pressure on murkowski and collins absence. Tremendous pressure on murkowski and collins. This is why you see senator collins she doesnt want the senators to query the accuser and accused outside counsel afraid how charged and fragile it is. Shepard timing of this is rich after 293 days of merrick garland. Yes. Thats a problem though. It cant be seen like an act of vengeance on the part of the democrats. And theyre walking a tight line too, as well. Shepard indeed. A. B. , thanks a lot. Thanks, shep. Shepard President Trump ordering the release of those classified documents and Text Messages just as people say dont do it. Its happening, maybe, here we go. So we just bought the home of our dreams. I went to move a box to the basement and. bubbling, dripping not part of the dream. We needed to pay for repairs and replace the water heater. Hwest oneway for just 69 dollars and if you think these sale fares are low, you should see what we charge you for two checked bags. Low fares. No hidden fees. Thats transfarency. [clap clap ding] shepard President Trump has ordered intelligence agencies to declassify and release dozens of documents relate to the russia investigation. The house intelligence Committee Chairman devin nunes and other republicans have been calling for the president to do this. Saying those documents will reveal bias at the highest levels of federal Law Enforcement. But the top democrat on the committee, adam schiff, is calling the move an abuse of power while current and former fbi officials have said the documents could reveal critical sources and methods and could make it more difficult to recruit the informants who are crucial to Law Enforcement investigations. The chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge is live in washington. Catherine, this hasnt been done yet. Nothing has been released but i suppose a process has begun. Is that fair . Thats right. The process in place and its ongoing as we speak. The records that are subject to the process include 20 pages from the surveillance warrant renewal in june 2017 for Trump Campaign aide carter page. This renewal is important because it is expected to include the intelligence that kick started the russia probe as well as intelligence gathered after the election. So it is considered the most comprehensive of all the surveillance applications. Republicans, as you mentioned, want to see records in days not weeks. If the leader of the free world, the president of the United States who has had to deal with this russia nonsense for this long, if he orders it done, this shouldnt take more than a few days. Thes order includes fbi interview with Justice Department official bruce ohr or matters to the russia case because of his connection to the trump dossier. After the former british spy behind the doe dossier was fired by the fbi 2016 documents show that the spy Christopher Steel maintain contact with the fbi and other government officials by using ohr as a back channel. The declassification also calls for the unprecedented release of Text Messages related to russia. So these would be clean copies without sections blacked out from former fbi director james comey, his Deputy Andrew mccabe or as well as former fbi agent peter strzok and former fbi lawyer lisa page. One of our contacts said that the process here may take much longer because of the shear volume of messages. Order from the president for records from Ongoing Investigation to my memory has never happened before, so there is no real precedent to follow in terms of the process and also questions that many have about the timing, shep. Shepard democrats are clearly pushing back . Thats right. Response to the president s move really split along party lines with the ranking democrat speaking from many in his party calling the president s move for declassification a quote abuse of power. Congressman adam schiff wants fbi director Christopher Wray and director of National Intelligence dan coats who overseas all of the intelligence agencies to draw a red line because he believes they should refuse the president ial order on the basis they are protecting sources and methods. Both Christopher Wray and dan coats are going to have to stand up to this president and say no. They are not going to release material that they have committed to keep confidential to protect people. Former cia director and staunch critic of the president accused him today of, quote recklessly releasing information to damage Robert Muellers ongoing special counsel probe. This is just one indication that mr. Trump is going to increasingly look for steps to take in order to further try to subvert the mueller investigation. We have kind of been here before. If you remember earlier this year with the release of the republican and democrat fisa memos from the house intelligence committee. In that case, there was sort of a holdup over some redactions, but, in the end, they were limited, shep. Shepard kat in, thankcatherk you. You are welcome. The chinese sell a lot more goods to the United States than u. S. To the chinese. Ours is more developed. Our people make more money. We also tend to make more inexpensive items than the chinese consumers do. Or we tend to consume them that helps create a trade deficit. President trump is unhappy about that. He is imposing tariffs or taxes on chinese goods. So those who sell to you like amazon and target and walmart will pay more and will history as our guide they will pass along those higher prices to u. S. Consumers. Here are the details. The president put another 200 billion worth of taxes on chinese goods. The list of affected products with new tariffs is hundreds of pages long. It includes lots of things from cotton to tobacco. In response to the president s move, the chinese are now slapping taxes on about 60 billion worth of american imports to their country. So, what the chinese sell you will cost you more. And what our manufacturers want to sell to china will cost the chinese more. The government calls it a tariff on imports from china. But, in the end, it means you will pay more and that new extra money goes to our federal government. Its a tax on consumers thats called a tariff on chinese imports. The Fox Business Networks blake burman is live at the white house. Blake, explain more about how these tariffs affect all of us . You laid it out there, shepard. 10 thats going to go into effect on monday on 200 billion worth coming in from china critics say is to level out those who support this say its to level out the trade imbalance. Critics say it boils down to a tax ends up being passed onto the consumer here at home. Going to be 10 as of monday. Keep in mind, this is going to ratchet up, according to the administration and the president s plan to 25 come 2019. The start of next year and President Trump is threatening more down the line if the chinese do not change their behavior. And if there is a retaliation against our farmers and our industrial workers. Our ranchers, if any of that goes on we will kick in another 257 billion. One of the things that started all this, shepard, the Administration Says that the chinese and many people believe this are engaged in intellectual property theft. Thats what they want changed. The forced technology of transfer, however, as we are now in this back and forth titfortat it does not appear at all that the chinese are changing that any time soon, shep. Shepard certainly not. Thanks very much. We appreciate it blake burman on the north lawn there. Up next, riding along for rescues. This is a scene that we have seen repeated again and again as we have flown across this region today, shep, with these customs and Border Protection agents. We have not seen anybody in need of rescue so far today. But, yesterday, these agents did, in fact, rescue a man, a woman and their dog from a boat that they were stuck on. Right now, this is a continued search operation. You mentioned that in all, some 2,600 people have been rescued in the days since Hurricane Florence hit. Those rescues will continue, although these agents tell us that unless these rivers go a lot higher, they believe that most of the people who were in need of rescue have, indeed, been rescued and that this will transition over the next 24 to 48 hours into a humanitarian and infrastructure Inspection Mission that they are on. But, there is the chance, of course, of more flooding. We are near the Cape Fear River. That is yet to crest. Officials tell us probably late tonight into the early hours of tomorrow morning, it is due to crest at around 62 feet. That is way above the normal major flooding stage. And obviously still of great concern. That is why have you heard the governor of North Carolina asking residents to stay away. It may also be why, even though it is not physically flooded in places, they are keeping a large section of i40 down towards wilmington closed because, frankly, officials do not want people heading back into this region. And as you look out at these astonishing pictures of the flooding, shep, you realize exactly why. Now, as you have been reporting, President Trump is set to tour this area tomorrow. And what we are giving you now is essentially a preview of what he will see via helicopter when he comes here. Thousands, upon thousands of people, shep, have lost their homes as you can tell. As i say its a scene repeated everywhere. As look down to the left now can you see one of the rescue boats. They have been going watching them as they go house to house obviously checking welfare checks. Making sure nobody is in these homes. Nobody is on the you were floors of them. Or in the attics of them. These agents customs and Border Protection by the way, shep, are veterans of Hurricane Harvey in houston last year, they are veterans of Hurricane Maria which hit puerto rico, of course last year and these guys say that while harvey in particular was such a devastating series of floods, and they make so many rescues, this water is at times as fierce as they saw in houston last year. They are working hard. They are working around the clock as are so many other agencies to rescue anybody who may still be out there, shep. A virus thats been almost forgotten. Its hepatitis c. Hep c can hide in the body for years without symptoms. Left untreated it can lead to liver damage, even liver cancer. The only way to know if you have hep c is to ask your Healthcare Provider for the simple blood test. If you have hep c, it can be cured. For us, its time to get tested. Its the only way to know for sure. Im not worried about anything except getting hearing set up. Allegations need to be taken seriously and committee needs to deal with them seriously. Dr. Ford will be heard and, of course, judge kavanaugh will will have the opportunity to defend himself against this accusation. People on both sides are going to need to handle this respectfully. We have a young woman who has come forward, she deserves to be heard. People will have to look at all the information and make a final decision. Judge kavanaugh is anxious to do it. I dont know about the other party we want to get to the bottom 6 everything
