Union thugs assault workers in effort to suppress Turkey's wildcat strike movement

A strike by municipality workers in Istanbul and Ankara and 2,000 textile workers in Gaziantep has seen the DİSK union apparatus resort to physical violence in attempt to suppress the action on behalf of the employers and the state.
