Cape May county in New Jersey was joined by other parties in filing this lawsuit charging that the decision to approve the Orsted's Ocean Wind 1 project violated numerous federal laws including the Administrative Procedures Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Marine Mammal Protection Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Coastal Zone Management Act, the Historic Preservation Act, the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899.
