Today 16 February, Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets presented a report on foreign policy at a sitting of the Parliament of Estonia (Riigikogu) focused on foreign policy, and outlined the main lines of action in Estonia’s foreign policy this year.
Given the increasingly tense international security situation, Estonia’s foreign policy is focused on security issues this year. “We must make an effort in our foreign policy to ensure that the Western world remains united and proactive and that we are unreservedly at its political core. It is important for our foreign policy actions to be focused on actively upholding the current international order,” Foreign Minister Liimets said.
