Uttarakhand CM inspects construction sites during Kumbh Mela ANI | Updated: Jan 24, 2021 18:05 IST
Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 24 (ANI): UttarakhandChief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, along with Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik and Chief Secretary Om Prakash did an on-site inspection of the construction sites on Sunday during Kumbh Mela.
According to a press release, they started their inspection from Lal Tappad flyover, to Sukhi River Bridge, Astha Path, Gourishankar Island in Khadki, Bairagi Camp Bridge, Ranipur Jhal Bridge, and Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat.
Chief Minister Rawat said that all the works are being done in a systematic manner and instructions have been given to the officials to complete the work on time.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 22 (ANI): In order to curb crimes against children and create a fear-free environment for them, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Friday inaugurated the first children-friendly (Bal Mitra) police station in the Dalanwala area and announced a relief fund of Rs 1 crore to help children.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister s Office, Rawat called this initiative a new beginning and an important step in the welfare of children. He also said children get moulded in any environment provided to them, therefore it is important for children to have a better environment.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 16 (ANI): As the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive has kicked off across India, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Saturday started the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out in the state from Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) in Dehradun.
Appreciating the health care workers in the state, the Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said, I bow in front of the health care workers who worked for six to eight hours a day wearing PPE-kits during the ongoing pandemic. Everyone in the state will be healthy. We just need to be patient, he said adding that they should keep following the standard operating procedure (SoPs) of COVID-19.
