The present government is actively pursuing the completion of energy projects including those under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), said Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar.
Azhar’s comments came at the signing ceremony of an Addendum/Amendment to the agreement for the ±660-kilovolt HVDC Matiari-Lahore Transmission Line between NTDC and Pak MLTC and Amendment No 1 to the implementation agreement between Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) and the project company, ie Pak Matiari-Lahore Transmission Company (PMLTC).

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said the government is focused on bringing a revolution of prosperity in Balochistan through projects of infrastructure and human development.
Addressing at the groundbreaking of three roads to be built by the National Highway Authority (NHA), the prime minister said Balochistan has been long neglected in the past and the government will take every step to minimize the suffering of the local people. Imran Khan said despite financial constraints, his government was committed to divert funds towards the development of Balochistan.

QUETTA/ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said our former rulers purchased properties in such areas in London where even a British prime minister can’t buy property.
The premier said the government was focused on bringing a revolution of prosperity in Balochistan through projects of infrastructure and human development. Addressing here at the groundbreaking of three roads under the National Highway Authority (NHA), the prime minister said Balochistan had been long neglected in the past and the government would take every step to minimise the suffering of locals.

QUETTA: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said his government was keen to bring about a revolution in Balochistan through projects of infrastructure and human development.
The federal government would discuss the expansion of health insurance, similar to those introduced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan, with the coalition government of Balochistan, said the prime minister after his arrival in Quetta on a daylong visit.
While speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of three road projects 162km Ziarat-Harnai road, 11km Dera Murad Jamali Bypass (N-65) and 23km dualisation of Quetta Western Bypass (N-25) under the National Highway Authority (NHA), Mr Khan said the federal government despite financial constraints was committed to diverting funds towards the development of Balochistan.
