The government has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas by Rs10 per kilogram, according to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.
The new price of LPG is Rs158 per kilogram, Ogra said in a
notification Monday.
The price of a domestic cylinder has gone up by Rs122 to
Rs1,863. A commercial cylinder will now cost 7,168 after an increase of Rs471.
Ogra has revised the LPG price for the month of February.
Assistant Chief Fire Officer (ACFO), Madam Janet Agyeiwaa Duah, Volta Regional Commander of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), says the Service is determined to reduce fire outbreaks in the Region.
She said the Service had, therefore, embarked on an intensive sensitization drive aimed at ensuring public compliance with fire prevention and safety protocols.
ACFO Duah, who was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said fire prevention was a shared responsibility and citizens must play their part by following the advice from the Service on fire protocols.
The Commander said the various Municipal and District Fire Officers were tasked to create awareness of the public on fire prevention and educate them on the need to observe the precautionary measures.

As per Indian Oil Corporation, a non-subsidised 14.2-kg gas cylinder currently costs Rs 694 in Delhi and Mumbai, Rs 720.50 in Kolkata and Rs 710 in Chennai.

The price was kept unchanged in the month of January. As per Indian Oil Corporation, a non-subsidised 14.2-kg gas cylinder currently costs Rs 694 in Delhi and Mumbai, Rs 720.50 in Kolkata and Rs 710 in Chennai. A 19-kg cylinder is priced at Rs 1,349 in Delhi, 1,410 in Kolkata, 1,297.50 in Mumbai and 1,463.50 in Chennai.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - After oil prices, the poor consumers are going to face another setback as Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs10 per kilogram (kg).
The prices of domestic LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs 122 and commercial cylinder Rs 471 following the recent hike in LPG prices. The domestic cylinder will be available now at Rs 1863 and commercial cylinder at Rs 7168.
The OGRA hiked LPG price by Rs 8870 per ton for LPG producers’ companies. The LPG price in international market jumped up to $574 against $536 causing an increase in domestic prices of LPG.
