The Haliburton Kawartha and Pine Ridge District Health Unit added two COVID-19 cases and one recovery in Haliburton since Saturday.
The County of Haliburton’s active case count now stands at eight and 11 high-risk contacts, four less since Saturday.
The health unit reported 11 new cases and one recovery in Kawartha Lakes which now stands at 35 active cases and 63 high-risk contacts, ten more since Saturday.
In Northumberland, 21 cases and 15 recoveries were added placing that county at 99 active cases and 263 high-risk contacts, up 9 from Saturday.
The health unit also reported two more people screened positive for a variant in Kawartha and 25 more in Northumberland.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported 18 new cases today, for a total of 169 active cases.
A total of 20 people have recovered since Thursdays report.

51 active cases in Quinte West
20 in Central Hastings
7 in Tyendinaga and Deseronto
4 on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory
1 in North Hastings
There are eight people in hospital, with 4 in ICU and two on ventilators.
There are a total of five outbreaks, as the outbreak at Richmond Retirement Residence has been declared over. The Belleville facility had one case linked to it.
A total of 39,316 vaccines have been administered with 3,204 people fully vaccinated. The health unit announced this week that a person who was at the Loyalist College vaccination was contagious with COVID-19 during their visit. The individual later tested positive for the virus and close contacts have been notified.

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit has confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19 in Northumberland County.
According to the latest data, our region now has 82 active cases and four current outbreaks.
The outbreaks are at: St. Mary Catholic Secondary School, Timber House Resort, Swiss Chalet in Cobourg and Christian Horizons in Port Hope.
The province is reporting 4,227 new cases of COVID-19 today and 18 more deaths from the virus.

It’s another day with a high number of new COVID-19 cases in Quinte.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting 19 new cases today, for a total of 148 active cases.

Staff say that four people are in hospital with one person in ICU. A total of 67 variants of concern have been identified.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people is 79.5.
A new outbreak has been declared today at the Richmond Retirement home in Belleville, with one case identified so far.
