A 25-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly shooting a 34-year-old man who was attending a New Brighton memorial for a shooting victim in September. Tyler Carmon, 25, a resident of the 500 block of Manor Road in Castleton Corners, was charged Thursday with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a firearm, according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information. The victim of the shooting, Cedric Black, 34, was attending a memorial gathering on Jersey Street on Sept. 15 for a 21-year-old man in the neighborhood who suffered the same fate a day earlier.
