The case brings to seven the number of active cases in the region. Five are in Nipissing and two in Parry Sound District. Of the 195 cases confirmed by the health unit since the pandemic began last March, 116 have been in Nipissing District and 79, including one death, have been in Parry Sound District.

In addition, case counts for other public health units may have been affected by system outages.
