HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): Data from the Ministry of Planning and Investment showed that Thailand had 40 new registered projects, 23 projects registering for capital adjustment and 100 capital contribution and share purchases in Vietnam with total registered capital of nearly US$1.8 billion last year.
This number was more than double compared to 2019 and nearly seven times compared to the 2015-20 period.
Thailand currently is one of the nine largest investors in Vietnam with a total accumulated investment capital of $12.8 billion by the end of last year, equivalent to 603 projects.

HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): The Civil Aviation Authority of VIietnam (CAAV) is ready to support its Indonesian counterpart after a recent plane crash that claimed the lives of more than 60 people, said CAAV leader.
In a letter sent to the Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority, head of the CAAV Đinh Việt Thắng expressed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved and hoped the Indonesian agency will soon determine the cause of the accident.

According to a report based on financial statements of 2019, the number of foreign firms continued to increase compared to 2018.

HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): Real estate prices in 2021 are expected to increase by 10 per cent over the previous year, said Nguyễn Văn Đính, deputy general secretary of the Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA).
Đính told a forum held yesterday that the Covid-19 pandemic affected the real estate sector, causing weakening demand in the market.
In early 2020, the market was frozen. The Government has taken many measures to untie the sector’s difficulties such as the promulgation of legal regulations for condotel development.
