A Carson City man was arrested Tuesday for multiple offenses related to a standoff that happened at a Morgan Mill Road residence in which multiple shots were fired inside and outside a home that was occupied by a 73-year-old woman, a sheriffs deputy report states.

The Carson High Cheer Team will host a Jr. Senator Cheer Camp Friday, Jan. 19, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in Senator Square at Carson High School in Carson City. At the conclusion of the camp, all participants will perform during halftime of the 7 p.m. varsity basketball game vs. McQueen High School.

A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested for domestic battery just after 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon. According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex on report that the man had punched a neighbor in the face while walking past the man’s front door.
