The Lady Bears couldn't have picked a better time to start showing improvement while also finding their confidence.

The Missouri Tigers are looking for another in-state win. After beating Southeast Missouri State 88-43 on Saturday, the Tigers finish a quick, two-game homestand when they take on the Missouri State Lady Bears at 6 p.m. today at Mizzou Arena.

The last time the Lady Bears lost an exhibition game to a Division II school, they went on to play in the Sweet 16. Still, Wednesday wasn't pretty.

The Lady Bears return a handful of players who proved themselves a year ago and will mix in plenty of youth during the 2023-24 season.

The Lincoln Blue Tiger women’s basketball team has proved it can play with the top half of the MIAA, it just has to prove it can do it consistently for a full 40 minutes. The Blue Tigers trailed by just four at half against the No. 24 Missouri Southern Lions, but a run to start the second half let the Lions extend their lead and post a 67-58 win in MIAA play Thursday night at Jason Gym.

The Lincoln Blue Tigers women’s basketball team dropped its seventh straight game Monday night in a 77-48 decision against the Missouri Southern Lions at Jason Gym. The Lions jumped out to a hot start in the first quarter, knocking down four 3s in the first 10 minutes.
