In Mendocino County. Officials say 670 people are still missing, 110 others have been found safe. These wildfires have destroyed more than 3500 homes and businesses and turned wine country into a wasteland. Lets begin in the north where there is a mandatory evacuation right now including the area you see outlined here. This is the northern portions of Sonoma County. Take a quick look. Several areas in that area out of out on location. If you live north of grant street, you are actually, north of the River Rock Casino, you are being told to make plans to evacuate right now. Lets look at another map with another area. Actually, not another map, but specific streets that are impacted by mandatory evacuations this morning in case you know anyone on nutter rolled, fullers road, fay ranch, fox ridge, vineyard road , willow ridge, ram hill and rockmouth road. Now, earlier today, we got our first real look from the air at the devastation of the fires. These pictures are from santa rosa. Also, there are some staggering new numbers tonight. 21 people have now died. 185 are injured. And 560 people are still missing in Sonoma County alone. At least 3500 buildings have been destroyed. Thousands of homes are still threatened. And 4500 people are in shelters. For a short time, we were trying to get people back in a their houses to get medication and urgent things. We were doing some escorts. We cant do that anymore because of fire safety issues so we have stopped that. So please, all the citizens, dont come to any site and expect to get in. Stay away from the evacuation areas. We still cant get in there. The tubbs fire in santa rosa at the top of the map has burned 28,000 acres and has zero containment.
