Hundreds of people started their Friday bright and early at Asheville Outlets, eager to be part of the biggest shopping day of the year.

The Asheville Outlets is offering a "Back to School Day" on Aug. 12 from noon-4 p.m., with major discounts, music, games and a selfie station.

Flin Flon schools are continuing on work as part of a provincial pilot project meant to encourage Indigenous teachings and knowledge in the classroom.
