Albany police: Man shot twice in one week News staff FacebookTwitterEmail Albany police are investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old man Saturday who they say was also wounded by gunfire on Monday.Courtesy photo ALBANY– Albany police said a man wounded Saturday by gunfire had also been shot a week ago and is now hospitalized in critical condition. Police responded to the area of Ontario and Benson streets at approximately 5:35 p.m. after receiving reports about shots being fired, according to a news release. At the scene, police found evidence consistent with gunshots and began to conduct an investigation. Shortly after police heard about the incident, staff from Albany Medical Center Hospital notified them that an 18-year-old man was at the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the back, police said. It was determined that the man was shot while at Ontario and Benson streets.
