Pennsylvania had another record day in terms of covid cases Tuesday. With the amount of new cases reported this week, the state amassed a three-day case total not seen since late September.
Cases
The state saw its third consecutive day of less than 1,000 new covid cases, according to state Department of Health data. On Tuesday, Pennsylvania reported 906 cases (507 confirmed, 399 probable), marking the first time in eight months that had happened. The state’s seven-day covid case average (1,232) is the lowest since early October. Total cases are now 1,197,468 in Pennsylvania.
